Torgar defends himself from the Indigo blast with a force-shield, then is knocked back by Superboy's attack, with Jai giving support.

He sends a psi-bolt towards Jon, to give himself some breathing room.

He's knocked back by the blast, cut off from his original target, but content to face off with the gorilla. Still disoriented, he still lunges, trying to remain appearing to be enough of a threat to give Jai a better shot while the ape's attention is divided. After all, Flashes were experts at fighting mutant gorillas, right?

Jai reads Jon's intention and moves to flank the gorilla, building up speed as he runs. He tries to move fast enough to keep Cranky Kong from using another mind trick on him.

When he's built up enough speed, Jai will attempt a hi-speed shoulder check into Torgar, hoping to weaken his shield enough to let Jon through, or even better, knock Torgar into a wall.

Jai calls this Karma.

Torgar calls this painful.

The sheer inertia of being hit with this force is enough to fling Torgar into the wall, weakening his shield.

If he can just reach the teleportation wands they'd been using earlier... He starts to get to his feet and races for the table where the belt-carried teleportation wands were sitting, using his powers to enhance only his speed and durability for just a moment...

Robert is thrown back from Corinna's punch, but his telekinetic shields protect him from being knocked unconscious. "I seem to have touched a nerve, princess," he snarls... and appears to vanish before her. "Tell me," his voice echoes, "is it just me you are afraid of? Or is it men in general?"

"I am not afraid of every man. Not all would take advantage of my people. But you are a monster. The kind that would hurt my people," she says. Then she strikes with her fist where she thinks Robert should be.

"I will not let someone like you threaten them or my team." They haven't yet really turned from team mates to friends.

Josh's eyes narrow as he continues to project his healing powers into his teammates until they're restored to full health. Once that's accomplished, he takes a step back with the intent of staying out of the way until someone needs healing. But then he sees Robert and there's another spike of anger.

He waits to see the results of Wonder Girl's attack and then arches an eyebrow. The healer cracks his neck and then rushes forward. He's pretty sure that he won't be able to trust his eyes so he relies on his extra sense. Once in range the healer jumps and sends a kick at the psychic.

Too bad Donald has a very pissed off Nalorian after him.

Waking is hard to do with the concussion and broken ribs, but when Josh's powers seep into Avalon's body, they bring him about quickly enough. It doesn't take more than a breath or two for Avalon to understand what was going on.

"Lock onto that son of a bitch who knocked me out." Avalon orders his ring, his voice actually a shade or two deeper with his seriousness. Those that haven't seen this side of Avalon might be surprised; the light hearted, smiling boy is gone, replaced by a strong as steel battle strengthened warrior.

Donald isn't getting away. Even if that means slamming Victor against a wall with a savage concussion blast. Avalon doesn't think twice about flinging Victor out of his way as he peruses Donald. Terminator style.

Victor is knocked aside, directly into Batman's batarang, which clangs off his forehead -- enough to knock a normal person out, though his shielding protects him.

Victor and Batman might not know it, but Victor's got a passenger now. Dinadan had transferred over to the psychic when he and Batman were swapping blows and blocks. Now he just needs to not fall off or be noticed until he can reach Victor's ear.

Screaming into it sounds like a lot of fun right now. If Batman can just keep Victor's attention focused on him...

Katima was surprised by the Sapphire's admission. So she had sent the Black Lantern. Now it made sense, why such a monster would appear so suddenly and why she was the only one who sensed it.

"You obviously know nothing about how love really works. Perhaps the Zamarons need to take back your ring. You are defective. You do not create love by endangering the universe. That isn't love; that is hate."

Katima aimed her ring at Felicity and fired.
