	"Why don't I fully believe that," he eyed Maria but did sit down. "Do you two do karaoke much?" Or does she need to drag you to it, is the unspoken question. Bitter? Slightly. "I'm avoiding any and all carbonation until I'm done hiccuping," Alina says, waggling her half-full glass. "So I'll be sticking with water for now."

And she'll probably stick with the non-alcoholic beverages the rest of the night too, even if she's not teleporting home tonight, even if she's here with people who could handle most situations that might arise.

"Got any go-to songs, Maria? I can help you find 'em."

	"Yes ma'am," he rolls his eyes at Maria but would've gone to get the drinks anyway to avoid discussion of songs. He'd listen to whatever atrocious singing would come up tonight but it'd be difficult to get him up there and singing himself. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"I have this thing practically memorized," she said with a grin. She grabbed a pencil and some pieces of paper. She picked a few songs out for herself. 	While they decide on songs, Thomas seems to be taking his sweet time getting their drinks. Which meant he could take advantage of Maria covering the tab and get a head start on the rest of them. Thomas comes back with a tray with all their drinks and, oddly enough, a slightly used looking fedora he'd gotten from who-knows-where. Well, once she saw her tab Maria would realize he may have won it in some competition at the the expense of her wallet.

He sets out everyone's drinks, including a Long Island for him and two shots that were the remainder from some special that evening. Though upon seeing Maria smirk, which could only mean trouble, he moves the shot he'd set aside for her back to his side of the table.

No way was he sharing if she was going to torture him.
