So This is What We've Got To Work With, Huh?
The man known only as the Elusive Man sits in his chair on the other side of the holographic relay projector, his features wreathed in shadow except for two glowing emerald green eyes. He watches young Cyrus navigate the controls of the Cerberus Ship Normandy II and admires the fact that the kid can handle it. That was good. After two billions credits worth of technological developments and upgrades, someone had best be able to fly that ship.

"Cyrus, you'll be under Urdrex's command while you two are recruiting the rest of the team. Don't take any unnecessary chances, you two. Find the people in the dossiers and get them to Omega as soon as possible; we don't have time to waste. Another colony has just been hit and if we don't do something about this soon, the rest of the universe is in a lot of trouble.

Are we clear?" the shadowed figure asks, sitting back in his chair.

Cyrus was enjoying the sights and sounds of the marketplace. He nearly forgot about the fact they were on a mission. Then that nagging feeling of knowing he had to do something returned.

It made him feel like a puppy. But hey he thought he spotted one of the targets. The guy.

And then the two girls they were supposed to find.

"Well that's convenient," he mutters in surprise. He looks back at Aleea. "How do you think we should handle this? I'm not exactly experienced in these matters."

It looked like they were trying to decide what to do. That pushes Cyrus into acting. He moves through the crowd to reach the three of them.

"Excuse me? Are you Alerron Yat, Mar'i Grayson, and Katima Sers," he asks. He doesn't look dangerous at all. On the small side and just not very impressive looking.

"We're here to ask for your help." That sounded a tad bit dramatic, didn't it? But he tries to meet their gazes and put into what he is saying that he is on the level.

Alerron looks down (literally) at Cyrus and Aleea. At 6'5, he's one of the taller beings in this area, though he's by no means the tallest. Still, he watches the pair intently as they speak.

The sun is yellow here, and Alerron will have little trouble dealing with these people if they prove to be hostile.

"Careful, Sister. Let us not be so quick to offer aid to those we just met. We do not know what they seek." he says, stepping forward to place himself between the visitors and his loved ones.

Katima frowned just a bit at Mar'i so openly confirming their identities. She truly subscribed the idea that once someone had your name they had some element of power and if these two strangers--aliens to this world most certainly--were looking for them, there was the potential danger element as well.

She moved just behind Alerron at angle enough that if she had to engage in battle she could.

"What do you want?"

They really were so much taller than him. He hadn't realized just from what he had read on them. He just purses his lips then continues right on.

"I was merely confirming you were who I think you are. I mean you no harm." He is trying to make it clear he isn't scary. "Whole colonies are disappearing from the edges of space. We want to investigate what's going on. According to the reports we have the latest one was a Tameranean settlement. This isn't just a Tamernean problem. Any race that has a colony out there is being targeted."

This organization is very well connected. He just.... Wants the best people he can get to do this. Whatever reason he chose each and every one of you, it's a good one," Cyrus says bouncing on his heels slightly.
