Aquaman's Outrageous Adventure (Open to Teen Titans, Cerdian, AJ)
They had to spend a few days in Poseidonis before coming back to Titans' Tower due to Cait's wounds, but eventually she was well enough to make the trip. The physicians wanted her to wait longer, but Arthur needed to get back here and Cait didn't want to leave him around Ty for any longer than necessary. To be honest, she was surprised San Francisco was still standing after Arthur had already been there for a few days.

Once they reached Metropolis they called the Tower and Cait asked Ty to come and get them. Cait was in bad enough shape with two healing stab wounds, she didn't want to add any additional misery by flying.

Cait smiled after they appeared in the Tower. Teleporting wasn't her favorite method of travel, but it was still better than flying. The important thing was that she was home. Nothing felt better than coming home.

"Hello?" she called out.

	Oh, this was... more normal. Not good, but more normal. He's also pretty sure he knows Cait's response to 'returning to Poseidonis'. He's tempted to mention that she's in no shape to travel and they can heal her better there... but then figures him saying anything will make things worse. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Dinah very slowly, and very carefully slid the phone into her back pocket, thumbing the button that would upload the contents to her private server, just in case. Either way, Eli had probably just saved her from, at least, an Aquaman scowl of death.

That the behavior change had occurred when Pippi had left the room suggested all manner of things, and you didn't even need the kind of detective training she'd had to put it together. It did demand further investigation though...

And Cait's words choice was oddly non-specific...

Damn. Lots to think about here.

Pippi flounces back into the room with a big grin. For those observing, there's no obvious sign of power usage on Arthur, though there is a hint of momentary gleam from her gemstone, but it seems, if anything, to be focused on affecting Pippi. Moreover, there's no sign she notices it.

"Hey, Mr. King-Arthur, is it ok if we go to Chuck E. Cheese's before the concert? I haven't been there in, like, forever, and there's one RIGHT by the stadium. I forgot to ask... and after everything else, we need to introduce you to ski ball."

Pippi blinks. "Oh yeah..." she adds, as if she'd suddenly come to a startling revelation. "I remember why I came down here. Uhm, I remembered that cats don't like water. So your new kitten, King Triton, doesn't want to go to Atlantis... you can come visit him any time you want though! But, uhm, I figured, since you need to go and be King, maybe Cait can stay here with us and take care of King Triton as part of her princess duties? He is part of the royal family now, after all."

	Ruth takes this all in, then locks eyes with Ty, her expression as 'Talk in my head please' as she can make it. Pippi's affecting him. The way her associates did us, but....nicer. Ty opens up a telepathic link to Ruth, and is stunned to find that that link almost instantly solidifies, and a lot of the confusion and rising worry drain away. For calming effect, its almost as good as his long-established link with Cait had gotten when Cait was calm.

Still, its a difficult situation. /I'm not sensing any malice from her, or any realization she's doing anything. It doesn't seem right... but neither does forcing Cait back to Atlantis right now while she's hurt. I don't know what to do... partly because every time I interact with Cait's father, things get worse./

	Don't let that get you nervous. He probably just projects a lot of family issues on you and thinks they wouldn't have them if Cait didn't have a boy in her life. Just... Soon, Ruth gets Mera in the kitchen. "It's more a need to explain than show, Mrs. Curry," she admits quietly. "Pippi? The one even more enthusiastic than Iris? I think her equipment is accidentally having a... genially intoxicating effect on Mr. Curry. She doesn't mean to. But it's obviously a problem... except it seems we also have a problem when it isn't happening, because Cait really shouldn't be travelling again so soon..."
