	Thankfully, the water isn't that far off. He dives in, going out deep enough to accomodate the change, then shifts into megalodon form. It'll do for transport, as long as no one gets too worked up about having to swim out to get put in the mouth of a shark, anyway. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

They cover the distance across the water in moments. He communicates through Pauline to have them get on the shark's head, submerging just enough to make it easy, as long as no one minds getting wet.
Trying something else, to keep the guy inside the statue from seeing them til its too late, he changes into a Gigantopithecus, doing the King Kong thing and climbing the Statue of Liberty with a whole team of Fae Wrays.

	Julian can feel the metal through his bones, watching as the distance between them and the top of the statue vanishes. He's ready to do what's necessary to save these children. He just hopes this part of the rescue isn't on video...much. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Harry is quietly meditating trying to keep himself as calm as possible that way so he can help out as much as possible. Whether it’s with finding the kids or healing people up but more than anything he wants to make sure he doesn’t freeze up under the pressure and become a liability to the people around him. Because that didn't sound like a loaded question.

"Yes. The moment you lay eyes on the person holding the children, I want you to work your magic on him. If we can slow him down, we might even be able to collar the guy for the authorities." Julian says.

"Meanwhile, watch Pauline and Harry's backs is all. Once the children are safely away from the kidnapper, you can feel free to look around for something new to sample." he says.

Slow him down, Julian? Apt words, perhaps, if not quite that way.

Failsafe is quite prepared for someone, though he doesn't know who. The second the giant head appears over the edge of the torch and the team is about to deploy, they all slow down to half speed, every movement feels like its through molasses, while Failsafe himself ramps up to triple his normal velocity.

"You realize you're already too late? I'm not a bloodthirsty man, just one out to shape the future. As soon as these children return to their parents and the media with their tales of horror, and people hear the fear, the terrible things the big, bad mutants did, what do you think is going to happen?"

	"I don't believe in too late." Julian says, rasing a hand. The slowing of time is disorienting to him, and he's honestly not prepared for it. Still, he attempts to find anything metallic on Failsafe's person that be used to break his concentration and either slow him down or speed him up. His team knows the plan. 	The gun is easy enough to point away from the kids. By the time anything more complex can happen, Failsafe is moving at them in a blur, simply reacting much faster than anyone can move. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

With the slowdown, he knows anything too big or complex that'd have to struggle through the hole in the torch would mean they all get shoved over the edge. He could probably transform and survive, but the others?

Instead, he shrinks, his reflexes enough faster in this form to almost bring him back to vaguely normal.

A tiny, vicious dinosaur launches itself at Failsafe, only barely cutting him off before he gets to X-Factor.
