(Not) Just a Normal Day At Avengers' Mansion
Svalin and Tryggvi just landed on the small lawn in the back of the Avengers Mansion. Svalin had been getting antsy and decided to take Tryggvi out for a flight around New York. They were both feeling too confined. At least at the Defenders compound there was room to move around and a nice ocean breeze. There were too many tall buildings in New York and they were all too close.

Svalin dismounted and immediately removed the saddle. She let it fall on the ground and then removed the bridle. She smiled and lightly rubbed Tryggvi's nose before placing a kiss on his forehead. "Thank you, my friend. 'Twas a most enjoyable flight."

Captain Marvel had been at home unpacking but he'd finally gotten permission from his parents to go see the Avengers and ask to join up like his parents before him had. Of course he wasn't expecting any kind of fight to be going on but he was eager to join in and help.

A flash of gold and a blur of red and blue came before Captain Marvel shot towards the Growing Man's fist with both of his outstretched in effort to keep him from squishing the human Avengers.

	It had taken a lot of work to get the knife back but he had done it, now rearmed Ryan goes after the nearest robot he can using spetsnaz knife fighting. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Kang's forces move on all fronts as his objective seems to change. Before the Asgardian can close the distance again, he grabs the now encased miniature Avenger, preparing to brandish the cubic force field as a shield.

As Growing Man begins laying waste to the surroundings, the guard robots change focus. They each rush to surround each Avenger as tightly as possible, then self-destruct violently.

	Eli isn't doing so well at the moment, trying as hard as he can to keep himself held together. He tries to his best to put up a telekinetic shield around himself, Iason and Kalypso to fend off the worst of the blast, but he knows it's not going to be enough to save them. 	Of course there's a self-destruct command. Kang will find at least some of those robots are just wandering around confused. Using a little science project of his daughter he built into the suit a long time ago, Iron Man has created a error in the code. Without some order to follow, the robot just wander aimlessly. Captain Marvel does his best to keep the Growing Man's attention on him instead of destroying things. When his punches just make the guy bigger, Wally tosses a photon blast at the Growing Man's eye. "Dad said something about a switch on this thing's neck when he fought it and..." Wally pauses as his awareness alerts him to the upcoming explosion. "Guys!" he doesn't get to say anything else before the awareness alerts him again but this time it's too late. With a grunt, Wally is hit by one of Growing Man's big fists and sent flying out of sight.

	Running at soon to be exploding robots did not go to well for Ryan, who got sent flying into a wall hard before fall face first into the ground. He was struggling trying to force himself to get back up but it wasn’t happening quickly. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Things are getting bad, very bad. Time for some desperation maneuvers.

Sarah raises the hammer overhead as she lifts off, staying amidst the robots and near Kang. She releases a burst of electrical energy in all directions, hoping that Kang's field will protect Vernique, and otherwise trusting the blast will strike the most conductive things around - namely robots, the Growing Man - being the tallest thing out there, and people in metal suits.
It probably won't do Tony any favors, but she knows he's shielded enough it'll probably at least be worse for Kang.

She hasn't got a great deal of aim or finesse with the electricity yet - but for once, she doesn't need to, she's just trying to level the field out some.

	Svalin and her horse are used to chaotic battles and managed to avoid the lightning and getting shocked. Tryggvi swooped in and Svalin took aim at Kang, trying to avoid the cube with her fellow Avenger in it. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Ah, chaos. There are always gains to be had from it.

The robots and Growing Man are spent, and the opponent he's facing is formidable. Time to end this.

"Save your companion from death of exposure in low Earth orbit, or face me. Your choice, Avenger." A small rocket emerges from a compartment on his armor, adhering to Vernique's prison, and then launching straight up at high speed.

For good measure, he unleashes two blasts. One is a destructive energy pulse at Svalin, the other is a data beam at the device on the wrist of the girl with Thor's hammer.

And then he is gone.

	The beam hits the Tallus. At first she expected some kind of attack - but it doesn't feel like there's any impact. And its Kang... Her expression goes from the combat focus to sudden worry. "Oh damnit... this is...not good." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Her shield catches most of the blast, but some of it still hits her. She grunts against the pain, but thankfully it wasn't a direct hit. She left the robots on the ground for her fellow Avengers and spurred Tryggvi on after Vernique. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Vernique's hands, even at her most accellerated strength and toughness, can't find a way of doing anything helpful in breaking the field. Shooting won't do any good. She's been trying to stay as calm as the situation would allow, but this has gotten way over the top. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Tryggvi closed some of the distance between them and Vernique, but it wasn't enough. They weren't going to catch the speeding Avenger. There was one last shot and Svalin had to try it. She carefully stood up on Tryggvi's back and vaulted herself toward Vernique. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
