A Strange Quest
Quinn had been thinking about the leprechaun incident and had a feeling it wouldn't be the last time he saw the little annoy creatures. Quinn's magic hadn't been effective and he had to know what to do the next time they came around. Maybe there was a spell or something that would work against them and their magic.

Quinn had to go to the one person who would know about this kind of stuff.

He teleported to 177A Bleecker Street in New York only to find it empty. He wondered where Dr. Strange was.

There was one person who may know. Quinn teleported out to the West Coast and arrived at the front gate of the Defenders.

One invitation was created, requesting the recipient attend a meeting at Stonehenge. There was no real way to tell how many magic users would be to fit their very specific need in the short period of time they had to work with, but the spell Marlow and Quinn devised would allow the invitation to replicate itself as needed. It required no more than Marlow to invoke it and send it out into the world, and the responses would return to them.

They had only to wait.

	Lucas can travel vastly faster in his astral form, and covers the distance to accept the meeting personally. He'll be there physically when he can manage a ride or teleport from someone more gifted with travel magics. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	No one could possibly have been more surprised than Dawn to receive the summons. She debated long and hard over whether or not she should even go. She hadn't come by her magical knowledge through training; she'd had it downloaded into her brain. She was thoroughly unqualified for the job. ...So why exactly did she agree to go? Matt had followed Shelly home just to make sure that she didn't get hurt. Short of forcing her to let him camp out at her place, he couldn't do anything else for her that she couldn't do on her own. She had to heal on her own, as best she could.

When he arrives home, he finds the invitation and shakes his head. A bunch of mystics with big egos and too much power all being asked to vote on the next Sorcerer Supreme?

"This can only end badly." he says to himself. Whisper's head perks up.

"You wanna go see Marlow, buddy? I'm sure she won't mind fawning all over you." Matt says. Whisper barks excitedly.

"Go get your lead while I get dressed. Then we need to go through the 'Reach to get there." Matt says, disliking the idea. Demonreach was getting close to being at full-power and he'd need to make his move on it soon, before someone else did.

He went to get dressed and armed. Once he's ready, he leads Whisper out of the apartment and down to the car.

"They would pick Stonehenge to do this, wouldn't they?" Matt asks rhetorically.

	Quinn was more than happy to teleport to Xavier's and pick up Lucas. It just took a few moments to go there, get him and go back to England. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

The Hood still isn't fully recovered from the Weapon X brouhaha, but when she receives the invitation, she considers the idea. She's being invited to a council of magic users. It would be nice to have someone who could teach her more about her power instead of learning from a book. Maybe someone would even listen to her about what happened to her father and offer to help.

Then again, they might not. This could also be a trap of some kind. She wasn't going to let anyone else get close enough to kill her again.

She answers with an acceptance of the invitation, then goes to write Kelly a note, telling her and the others that she'll be back soon.

Then she goes upstairs to grab her guns, her cloak and weapons.

No one was going to trap her ever again.

Akilah and Daniel had both received their invitations, and the pair worked together to teleport to the congregation. Akilah had her whip and a hunting knife.
