A Strange Quest
Quinn had been thinking about the leprechaun incident and had a feeling it wouldn't be the last time he saw the little annoy creatures. Quinn's magic hadn't been effective and he had to know what to do the next time they came around. Maybe there was a spell or something that would work against them and their magic.

Quinn had to go to the one person who would know about this kind of stuff.

He teleported to 177A Bleecker Street in New York only to find it empty. He wondered where Dr. Strange was.

There was one person who may know. Quinn teleported out to the West Coast and arrived at the front gate of the Defenders.

Lucas sits crosslegged on the ground, trusting the others to defend him. All around their enemies, wind whistles and snags hair, brief flashes of fire and light spirits manifest at the edges of their vision, causing no damage, just distraction. Ethereal voices call out warnings or quiet whispers.

A magic user depends upon his concentration. Lucas does everything he can to disrupt their ability to focus without causing them any physical harm.

	"Whisper! Guard Lucas! Anyone goes near him that isn't one of us good types, kill them." Matt orders. Whisper barks in acknowledgment, then growls at Johannes. Then Matt concentrates and calls forth wind and force directing them at Johannes. "Ventas Servitas!" he yells, directing the torrent at the other wizard. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Johannes wasn't stupid. He knew an attack was coming. He threw up a shield to keep their attacks from reaching him. "Let the crimson bands of Cyttorak surge forth, seeking the ones who are near!" Johannes yelled and red bands appeared and started to wind around those opposing him. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Dawn was certain the others could focus on the bands and concentrated back on Johannes. Maybe something a little less mystical... She reached out with a conjuring spell and summoned up, of all things, an anvil, about a foot above his head, counting on gravity to take over. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Vanish away now, Bands of red -- the need for you has likewise fled! Marlow uttered the spell in a loud, dark voice that hardly seemed capable of coming from body, and added a dramatic wave of her hand for Johannes' benefit. 	With so much firepower blasting away, Marlow added her own touch. A Marlow illusion appeared next to Johannes to startle him into dropping the book. She threw green blasts at his head to make him flinch as well. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The combined attacks destroyed Mordo's shields and he was hit with part of the blast. The book of the Vishanti fell from his hands. Dormammu rushed in, grabbed Johannes. "You are going to spend the rest of your life in the Dark Dimension," Dormammu growled. Then they were gone. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Dr. Strange levitated the book to his hands. He wasn't about to lose track of it. With a wave of his hand he teleported them all back to the Sanctum Santorium.

"Thank you," he said to all of them. "I regret that we did not apprehend Johannes Mordo, but I do believe that we will not have to worry about him for some time. I almost feel sorry for him with what Dormammu has planned for him."
