Your Mission Should You Choose to Accept It
The spaceship approached Knowhere Station at an alarming speed. Ships usually decelerated before trying to enter one of the hangar bays, but this one didn't show any signs of slowing down. Alarms went off all over the station as the ship drew closer. Fighters launched to intercept the incoming ship.

The pilot of the small craft had the sense to contact the command center in the station when she saw the ships moving to intercept. The fighters backed off and the incoming ship slowed a little. It wasn't enough and the ship crossed the forcefield barrier to the one hangar bay. The ship's landing gear touched the deck, but the ship kept moving. It skidded across the bay and came to a halt after hitting the far wall.

	The Brood scatter as the Eternal advances, several being cut down by the oncoming attacks, but the swarm is dense, and still coming. The small furry morsel and the Earthling seem to be the most promising targets. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Iason finds a point central to the onrushing brood, and begins to tap into his energy reserves, radiating intense heat to make as much of a line break for the team as he can, rather than focusing on inflicting any direct harm himself, as long as nothing gets too close. "What a woman.." Alex manages to get out a little bit of banter in response to Azura, before giving a flat expression behind his helmet as Red spoke up. "I swear Red, I will turn this galaxy-saving mission right around..."

Alex keeps moving, laying down precise bursts of fire. His dad trained him to never fall back to 'spray and pray' firing tactics. It hasn't gotten him killed so far, so it seems to have been worth paying attention to.

"Fire in the hole!" He chambers an incendiary round and triggers a collapse of one section, delaying the influx of Brood.

"Move, people!"

	Red had swapped his photon rifle out for an automatic rifle that used physical ammunition. He was quickly standing next to a pile of shells nearly as tall as he was. Fortunately, there were a lot of Brood with a lot of holes in them to match. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The charge in her guns was draining quickly. Too quickly, but Brood were also going down. Azura dropped the weapons and pulled the sword from its scabbard on her back. "DIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEE!" she yelled and started using Godslayer on Brood. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Iason lets Dae handle the buffer zone alone for a few moments as he moves to collect the incendaries.

Once he has everything fire-based and high explosive he can grab, he gathers them up, managing to somehow not lose hold of any, rises above the battlefield, then goes into a powerdive into the middle of the Brood swarms, resulting in a massive *BOOM!!! the shockwave throwing yet more of the horde away.
