The Big Finale!
The brides were clad in white and lined up in front of the altar. A semi-circle of priests stood behind the brides and were chanting. The magic in the air became more powerful as the priests chanted. A small circle appeared in the air before the brides and started to get bigger.

Standing behind the priests was a large group of deviants. They were witnessing the rebirth of their god into the mortal realm. It was an honor and privilege to be witness to this historic moment.

	Skapirus was thrown back and landed hard on the ground. It didn't dissuade her, instead it made her more determined. She charged at the redhead as fast as she could and breathed balefire at the girl. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Skapirus kept charging and when she hit the shield, she jumped up and somersaulted over it. Landing next to the girl. Vapor came from her mouth and formed an acidic cloud while sharp nails swiped at the girl. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Shit! Why the heck wasn't she more powerful, like Mom or Rae or Nate...? Her TK shield pushed the gas aside, but she had nothing to do but try and throw herself out of the way of the nails, receiving a shallow, but painful cut across her bare midriff. 	Whether or not Skpirus was hit was determined by her own sense of perception. A powerful telekinetic blast from the air was thrown at her, to shake her away from further attacks on Rachel. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Someone... was rescuing her? Rachel's vision was a little blurry from the poison--she had to have been poisoned--but she could tell that much. She had to heal herself... She could move stuff. Poison was stuff. Just very... very small... (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Sammy ran between the fights keeping out of the way as best she could. With so many teams in one place, she fell to scooping up the injured and getting them out of the way.

She saw Rachel fall and Franklin come in to cover. On the right side of the barrier, she dropped to her knees at Rachel's side. "Hang on, I'm going to get you out of the way. Don't fight me on it.

"Good!" Franklin shouted in response. But he couldn't do much more than say that, for his focus was on the fight. And with the knowledge that Rachel and Sammy were going to head for safety, Franklin took a telekinetic hold on one of the buildings nearby, and it was detached from the ground. A telepathic search indicated that there were no inhabitants.

"Go please!" he shouted as the building was lifted higher, and Franklin began to take aim.

Still in real time, and with no more focus on Rachel and Sammy, Franklin creates a telekinetic shield between himself and the gas, which he pushes back on Skarpirus. He hopes to close off the shield as a bubble around her body, causing her gas to consume her in a major backfire. The building Franklin had prepared was still at the ready, and he continued to fix his aim for when he needed it.
