Character Q&A
"Hello and welcome back to another installment of Character Q&A. This week we have Corey Drake and Rex Stewart.

Corey is the son of Robert Drake and Amara Aquila. He was a member of the X-Men but is now with the Champions in New Orleans. He is an artiste and the team chef.

Rex is the son of Jon Stewart and Shayera Sanders-Stewart. He likes drinking and fighting along with Hope Free.

That'll interest you? I've got a collaborative effort going with a classmate that re-envisions the fountain in the Barcelona Pavillion as a functioning art-torch-fireplace. I'm handling the sculpture itself and they're making all the little mechanisms that you never have to worry about to get the fire. That's way more worth talking about than any of the fights and stuff we've been in lately. What about you?

Hm. I love her for a million different reasons. I love her even when she drives me nuts or makes me worry. I love her even when I want to sit her down and lecture her while I try to pretend I'm not turning to either of my old men.

The theme here is that I love her more than anything.

But there will never be another bacon explosion for her. I refuse to explain to Mom why you dropped dead at eighteen. -nods-

Wow, good question, Lian.

The most rewarding things I can think of are the team cookouts, Halo parties, and knowing that when I need back-up, I know that these guys and gals are willing to back me up. They also know that if they need anything, they can come to me.

The most difficult thing, I'd say, is knowing that each of these people count on me to lead them into and out of every fight in one piece. It's one thing to have a kid sister depend on you to take care of her, but it's something else when your friends are doing the same. They're putting a lot of faith in me, and I want to everything I can to be worthy of that faith.

I would probably have gone to school for engineering or architecture. I like to work with my hands and build things, like my dad.

Tough call, but there was this one, a while back... it was almost like doing a trompe l'oeil painting, but more of a .. trompe sand sculpture.
