Kingbreaker- City at War

There is chaos in the street of New York City as a wave of increasing gang violence has swept through the city. The exact groups fighting are unknown at this time but it is believed to be related to the attacks on gangs that has been going on for over a month.

Citizens are advised to stay off the streets as much as possible especially at night and to listen to the news about areas were violence is currently occurring. The police are doing their best to control the situation and to stop the people responsible however they are currently having difficulties as many of the people leading these outbreaks of violence seem to have superhuman powers.

Everything is going according to plan both sides will weaken each other and then she will be able to easily step in and take complete control of the criminal underworld of New York City. Rose Red will finally be able to have the revenge she has long sought. Almost nothing can stop her plans from coming to fruition now and as long as the heroes stayed in the dark about what’s really going on nothing will.

Headshot was currently on the roof of a building taking shots at members of the Russian Mafia. Arthur didn’t know why those gangs had started this war with the Kingpin but he intended to finish it, there was no way he was going to let these upstarts take down him or his employer. Earlier he had heard some bullshit line from a Italian mafia underling about the kingpin attack them first which Headshot knew was not true since he would have planned and lead the assault if it was really by the Kingpin and the defeat would have been soul crushing not inciting them to fight back.

	Repo was fighting a bunch of low level Kingpin thugs. He had a small group of triad thugs with him helping but he was doing a pretty good job fighting them off by himself. He had hoped that he would get to go up against someone with powers so he could use his but right now he wasn’t seeing anyone with powers fighting. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	Jack watched from his own rooftop. Two gangs fighting each other wasn't necessarily a bad thing in his view. He was there to make sure innocent people didn't get hurt and the winner down below didn't get away. He swung down to see what he could do to either help end it or move it in a different direction. The Kingpin felt he needed a bit more super powered muscle to deal with the upstart gangs that had foolishly declared war on him for something he had not done but was curious as to who had. That’s why he had paid a lot of money for what Phil considered to be having some fun which was the only reason why he had taken the job since the Kingpin lacked the type of information he needed.

Phil sent a car flying down the street at a group of enemy thugs, they didn’t stand much of a chance against him and he was have some fun with them before he took them out.

The whole explosion of violence had Calvin on the streets pretty quickly. Fighting through the chaos, he had to wonder if any of this was connected to the incident where that Avenger guy got shot.

Catching sight of a car being thrown, Rebound moves to put himself in the way of it. He grunts as a combination of his enhanced strength and his kinetic energy absorbing powers eventually stop the car and the hero in white and blue sets it aside. Stomping a foot to burn off some of that absorbed energy with a shield, he starts walking towards Phil. "Pick on someone in your own power class, jerk," he calls as he approaches.

Rebound smirks just a moment as the hand is raised. When the wave hits, he grunts and gets forced back a bit. The impact did hurt a bit but powers once more helped dull the force.

Once it stops, the red-haired teen launches himself at Phil and tries to throw a punch at his midsection. He's not using any kinetic-enhanced attacks just yet though as he doesn't know if the enemy can take it.

	Crosshairs isn't actively causing any trouble, just staying on a rooftop out of the way where she can oversee a couple of the operations for Rose Red. Sure, she has her sniper rifle, but she also has instructions not to shoot anyone if it doesn't become necessary - but necessary is somewhat left to her discretion - part of why she loves working for Rose. 	Leo was doing what he could to help in the streets and had been doing a pretty good job of cleaning the streets of thugs in the area he lived in. The cops were busy dealing with other issues and since he could help out he was. He was currently locked in a shot out with a couple of thugs and winning. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Leo had learn to be pretty aware of his surrounds for his line of work and when he noticed out of the corner of his eye someone jump off of a nearby build calmly he quickly realized it either meant it was a really good thing for him or a really bad thing. Shriek waited. She had to be patient with her abilities. If she rushed headlong into things, there was the strong possibility someone would get the jump on her and she'd only be able to take out one or two targets beforehand. So she waited until she could use her abilities to cause the most damage to the most number of people possible.

She stood in the doorway of a Starbucks and waited for Rose Red's people to come this way.

	She definitely wasn't getting paid for this, but there was no way Abigail was going to sit on the sidelines when there was this much chaos going on. As a bit of a nostalgic touch, she'd added a small domino mask to her usual ensemble. She had one simple rule. Anyone who wasn't a super-hero, cop, or someone she knew, got shot.
