Game of Thrones Finale: The Rescue
When the smoke and the dust and in some cases the blood finally clears, there's just the electronically sealed vault door separating the combatants from their captive parents, grandparents, and employers.

Kristoff gets to work on the locks, and soon the door rolls back. The technicians surrounding the prisoners are all cowering in fear with their hands up.

The prisoners themselves -- Silver Sablinova, Victor Von Doom, Namor McKenzie, T'Challa, Magneto, and Exodus -- are all under heavy restraints and hooked up to IVs, so heavily drugged that they cannot access their abilities or think straight enough to plan an escape. They have only recently been brought to enough basic consciousness to -- HYDRA had assumed -- watch their children die on the television screen provided.

At the sight of Doom, Vincent's jaw tightens and he thumps his staff against the floor, cracking the stone slightly, before dismissing the implement back into his cape. He stares at him for a long, intense moment, peering straight into the eyes behind the mask, before his gaze darkens and he looks away, advancing to carefully examine the restraints.

He turns back to Kristoff, his back to Doom, and gestures to his left and right. "The restraints are powerful, but have no externalized security measures. It's safe to release them."

And he says no more, after that one hitch in his voice, moving to release Namor.

Stuff hurt. There was some blood. Kassi didn't care. All she wanted was to get to her father and she very nearly trampled over Vincent to get to him until she realized that he was releasing him. The second he was free and the IV out, she had her arms around her dad's waist to support his weight.

Marrina was by her sister's side in an instant, taking her father's other side.

She had gone most of her life without ever knowing him, and now that he was a part of her life, she was very scared that she had almost lost him.

Namor's legs feel like jelly and for a moment, he wonders if he is dead. He would rather be, if he must live without his daughters for the rest of his life.

Soon, however, his eyes open and he still wonders if he is dead, as he sees Kassia and Marrina.

"Kassia? Marrina? Am I...dreaming?" he asks.

"Dad!" Namor's heavy. Surprisingly so, but Kassia doesn't care. She hugs him for all its worth, supporting him with Marrina's help. "No, you're not. You're not dreaming. We're here to rescue you!"

Namor is still trying to get the cobwebs to clear, but he is starting to remember how he came to be here...and his anger grows.

"Whoever has visited this insult upon me will beg for mercy and find none. Threatening my children is foolhardy in the extreme." Namor snarls.

He gives Vincent a measured look, then nods. "Have you brought your team to aid us?" he asks.

It starts to dawn on Kassia that her mother is missing and she almost lost her dad, too. It frightens her, and though none but Marrina and Namor himself will recognize the fear in her eyes, she hugs her father a little tighter.

She looked over to Kassi, trying to communicate reassurance as best she could.

Vincent nods. "My brother is with us, and Andrea should just be leaving Latverian airspace."

He watches the loving, in Namor's fashion, reunion, compelling his thoughts to wander just a bit.

"Hydra..." Namor growls, feeling his strength come back to him. He attempts to disengage himself from his daughters, not wanting any of the other monarchs in attendance to see him weak.

Of course, when Kassia hugs him, it makes all of that a little more difficult.

"Be strong for now, my Sainted One. We will have time to rejoice later, you, your sister and I. For now, we must make sure the threat of HYDRA is ended." he whispers to Kassia.

No familial complication. No feeling the sword on his neck. Just another bunch of bad guys to go raze.

Everything should be so simple.

Kristoff sidesteps a little as Giovanna Bennet almost knocks him over trying to get to her father and her sovereign. Then, after a nod to his brother, he steps toward Doom.

The armor is still experiencing the residual effects of an aromatic polyamide to disable most of its systems. He manages to undo the restraints and the drug feeds as the technicians skitter away.

Doom lurches away from the restraints, his weight falls heavily upon Kristoff.

It is a scant moment before his eyes snap into focus, and he forces himself to his own feet. "Where are those who assured their own destruction by laying their machinations upon Doom?" He scans the area, finding... two individuals who have his respect, one whom has eluded him through means still not certain, and one--

He looks at Kristoff. "Where is this location?"

Kristoff supports him as best he can until Doom gets up. "Symkaria, Sir. The invitation to which I presume you responded last week was issued by a Life Model Decoy, not the real Lady Sablinova."

His faculties returning to him rapidly, Doom's posture straightens as he takes account of the other heads of state present. Magneto, and T'challa. The pattern between the nations becomes obvious.

A moment's thought before he presses a button on a gauntlet. A light flashes briefly.

"Any Doombots currently active outside Latveria have been disabled, their hard drives data-dumped and then atomized."

Doom surveys the other man, eyes flicking to the younger one by Namor.

"Why are you here, Vernard?"

Some questions, even if the answers are already known, need to be asked. It is a matter of protocol.

Andrew snaps Magneto's chains as soon as he has the all clear. He's certain Exodus and Gio would both say Magneto should be freed first. Exodus is next while Magneto recovers.

Giovanna, being a professional, does indeed agree that Magneto is the first priority and will make sure the remaining drug IVs are carefully detached as Andrew gets the chains.

And then, as the same is done with Exodus, she can't quite stay calm. "Father!" she says, arms around him. As he groggily looks over and approves of their priorities.
"Are you both all right?"
"We're all right. You had us worried sick; since when do you get taken alive?"
"I am very interested in that subject myself, ma petite."

Nicolai made his way over to where his mother was being restrained cutting her free saying in Symkarian, “Mother are you alright.”

Nicolai felt really bad about all of this; maybe if he had paid more attention he would have caught this all sooner. He was glad to see though that she seemed fine.

“The country is mostly finished cleaning itself off from the Latverian attack when his robots came to rescue him. The international situation is still a little tense but with all that has happened and been uncovered I’m sure we can take care of it without too much trouble especially with you running things and not some robot by HYDRA. That is all I can say for certain right now, I’ve only been back in Symkaria for a few hours so we will need to look more to see what other damage they may have caused while they had been impersonating you,” Nicolai said.

Akilah is quick to release her father from his restraints and the IV line of drugs, and she lies him down while using her magic to quicken the process of his recovery from the drug0induced stupor. She says nothing, but her eyes are filled with worry.
