Just got back from the Senses Fail w/ Dance Gavin Dance & Sky Eats Airplane show. It was absolutely amazing. I think it's been a good 2-3 years since I've been to a show. Funny thing is I think it was Senses Fail too haha Either way, I actually saw some of the old scene kids I used to hang out with, Ryan was there, looking absolutely gorgeous as usual! God, he's so cute <3 He looks A LOT like Davey Havok who I am in love with. Jake was there too, it was really nice to see them all again! I gotta hang out with them more often, and I DEFINITELY need to go to more shows. We did some consulting for some of the guys who run the venue so we (jimmy  and I) get in for free which is awesome. So the first band pretty much sucked, it was like ska but worse. Then Sky Eats Airplane came on and OMG WOW!!! I love them! Then Dance Gavin Dance which was amaaaaazing and then Senses Fail, wow! It was SO MUCH FUN! Sorry to people on my Twitter, I spammed a lot! I was going to bring my Canon, but I thought it would be too much of a hassle, was I wrong, iPhone sucked haha I am definitely bringing a point and shoot with me next time! Although it won't be easy to Twitter, but whatever....

Hrmm, so today, I pretty much didn't do anything. I did chat with raf  and we did get some Counter Strike in, so that was fun. Just eating a bit of a snack right now, then I am going to bed. Tomorrow I am going to work with the horses and then not sure, might be going to my parents for dinner or something.

I played a bit of Gaia Online today, was just doing some of the puzzles they have, they're semi-addicting when you've got nothing else to do.

Picked up my copy of Gears of War 2 on Friday after my consulting appointments. Got home, chatted with raf for a bit...attempted to read some of my book but failed as usual. I ended up falling asleep...which actually ended up being a good thing :) Woke up, chatted with the guys for a bit. Then around 8PM LtDan and I finally got setup and started playing Gears. I think we played until like 2am or so. Made it to Part 4, Chapter 1. Then I chatted with Raf until like 5am, we figured stuff out, and we're pretty much all good now :D I am so happy cause he makes me so happy and I would hate to loose him.

Today I woke up around 12:30pm which was BAD. I hate waking up late, but I guess when you go to bed at 5am, that happens. Chatted with Raf and LtDan then the Lt and I started back up on GoW2. Finally beat the game around 4pm or so. It was EPIC. I love that game SO MUCH. It was VERY VERY VERY well done. I'll be writing a bit more in-depth on TeHGeekGirl.com/blog so look out for it!

Then I got dinner, did some things, and now I'm talking to Raf. We're working on getting C&C: Red Alert III going. What a pain in the butt though. I also figured out the deathmatch mod for my Counter Strike: Source server so I might try to get that installed tomorrow or Monday.

I know I said I would be coding because of my broken wrist but I can't help but do a little. I've been looking into updating the Scribbld code base...so what I've done so far is update the dev box with the new code base and I've started moving some Scribbld custom stuff onto it to see how well it works...a few things I've noticed so far, the userinfo page is new, rich text editing works in Safari/Web Kit now, the poll creator is still broken, but I've submitted a help/issue request so hopefully they get back to me about it.

Hrm, so now I'm just waiting on raf, so slowww...

Wow, it's been almost a week since the accident and I think I am doing pretty well. The doctors visit went well, should still be like 4-6 weeks in this cast though, maybe a bit longer, it sucks.

Been enjoying not having to do all the barn chores myself, the girls are enthralled they get to be around the horses :P

Just eating some lunch, waiting for raf to get back from his lunch...

We played some Counter Strike last night, got into this wicked awesome server which I hope to replicate on to ours. It was some sort of deathmatch mod, really cool.

Hrmm, so today is just boring office work, so is tomorrow...Friday I've got a few consulting appointments scheduled and then I am getting my copy of Gears of War 2 and playing it until Sunday :)

Before I dive into things, I have to say raf was amazing on this evening's show. I was enthralled with the show and I think he did an excellent job. If you missed it you can catch up on it at http://twit.tv/ww -- I am sure Leo will have it posted in the next day or two.

In other news, Raf and I stayed up until like 3am last night, and for the last 2 hours, we could not stop laughing. I seriously have not laughed that much since I don't even know when. Even my last boyfriends never made me laugh that much, I think that says something, yeah? :) I almost peed my pants, and by the end of the night, I had pretty much no voice left, my lungs, neck, and tummy were all killing me. It was great.

We also got in a few rounds of Counter Strike: Source. I finally had to call it cause my wrist was killing me and I definitely couldn't play one handed. Definitely had a lot of fun though. I really enjoy that game. Plus one of the servers we were playing on had some really cool custom player models.

Today, I worked at the barn with the girls early so I could come home and play some Dead Space. All went well until my XBox told me my copy of Dead Space was for the wrong region :( So I am snagging a new copy (right region) and also Fable II (MajorNelson seemed to like it...).

So I finally convinced an unnamed person to play World of Warcraft with me. More on that in a bit...

Been really busy working and doing horse stuff this week and finishing up a really big consulting project mixed in with some normal consulting. So things seem to be calming down a little bit which is nice. So this weekend I pretty much played Counter Strike: Source the whole time. My dedicated server on Linux doesn't work though, it crashes on map changes. I think it's got something to do with either missing libraries or libraries that are not compatible with the software. I can't really figure it out, nor do I have the time too. Instead we got it installed under Windows XP and so far I haven't run into any issues. For some reason one of the mods isn't working but I have a feeling it will be an easy fix (I've just got to find some time to do it)!

So on Sunday, this anonymous person decided they wanted to try out World of Warcraft with me. I don't know, but it made me really happy. When this person said they didn't want anything to do with it, I was just upset because this person completely shut it out, didn't even try it. I used to be the exact same way, I was completely anti-wow, but I gave it a try...People who just downright shut something out, annoy me, you've to at least try something once and if you don't like it, then that's totally cool, at least you gave it a shot. It seems to arrogant to be like that. But you know what, this person, completely turned around, and said, yeah sure, I'll try it and they did...and I am very glad they did too. I was totally expecting the person to follow through with their original thoughts about the game, but it turns out, this person might actually like the game afterall...see, it's weird how things work like that :)

So yeah, we played some World of Warcraft last night, we played as Undead Mages, and I sure as hell had a fun time! I'm only level 3 at the moment, but it's fun, especially when you're playing with someone you like and have a good time with and can make memories out of it.

Today was an office day, having loads of fun...trying to get a Mac Pro to play nicely on remote desktop, I just have a feeling the people setting it up aren't doing it correctly, ARGH!

Another 30-45 minutes and I am going home!!! Playing some Warcraft later tonight (if anyone wants to join us, let me know!) and I've got a meeting before that...so it's going to busy until I go to sleep, yay!

Well, I over-worked myself again and I made myself think I could do all this shit, but as usual I failed and I didn't get everything done I needed to get done. It's like 6:15pm now and I've still got a rather large list of shit to do, and absolutely no motivation to get it done right now. I mean I've got a lot of stuff done today, but not nearly as much as I wanted too. I think I did a couple things that could have waited until this weekend, but whatever.

So yesterday, I asked Raf to play WoW with me, you know on my little private server, no big deal right, and he made it sound like I asked him to marry me or something absolutely insane. I felt like an ass lol. Whatever, it's not like you know, I got COD4 and Hamachi and all that bullshit so I could play with him...I do that for him, why doesn't he even try something for me. Am I asking to much? Maybe I am, I don't know...at least we agreed on playing TF2 and Counter Strike: Source so I won't complain too much...but for me, maybe he could have tried something else...I tried Skype for him too, so HAH! JERK! Ok done.

And then today, I was like oh you should try airsoft, and he said something dumb about that so I was like eh whatever fuck it and left. I think I am just stressing out too much right now. I need to go play some CoD4 or something, or just relax with the horses or take the dog out for a nice long walk.

Good news, PC snagged Wildfire s01e09 for me. I finally can complete season 1 now! Yay.

I'm going to setup my own TF2 and CS:S server (maybe tonight) and I think now you can use bots without having an extra application. I have to double check on that. It'll mostly be for my own practice, but I'll probably open it up to the world just for kicks. I'll probably install another GB of RAM into the machine...although it's been bitchy about booting lately so I am afraid to turn it off now that's actually up and running haha.

Ok, well this weekend is nothing, just hanging out. Might go get together with some friend or see if there's any airsoft going on...

It's been insanely busy around here still, I guess cause of the school year and everyone is still coming back and things are still breaking haha (when aren't they). So I've been really busy with that, been driving all around the state too, doing on-site fixes and setups, which is fun.

Last night raf and I played some Counter Strike: Source. I think the last time I logged into Steam was back in the winter haha I haven't played in so long, it definitely showed too lol. The people playing that game are absolutely crazy. Finally on round 2 or 3 I started to get back into and I finally had a decent end score. It was on a level I'd never played either, but I really liked it. It was like this little town, very cute hehe. I also figured out how to get Codename Gordon back (which I didn't even know was gone until I looked at it's Wikipedia entry. It kind of sucks that it's not in there "normally" anymore. It's a really fun game (minus the fact the it doesn't support windowing mode, it looks like ass on my widescreen display lol). So yeah, we definitely had fun last night.

Around 8:30 or so Nikki came over and we just hung out, talked about random things, boys, music, cars, etc...you know hehe

Oh, raf do you still need that screenshot for the VPN error? I'm going to have to remove the entry in my registry and then do it that way....just let me know and I think I should be able to do that this afternoon...I hope...
