This is going to be a pretty quick and maybe short post, who knows. Brian is coming over in a couple minutes so we can have some BBQ time! Hehe. I dunno if it'll be the last one of the season but surely one of. I love BBQs! :) Such yummy food hehe. I think tonight we're doing some steak and chicken and corn on the cob. I'd love to get some ribs too though.

What else, ever since I quit my job, or I dunno if you'd say that but the business was over, I've been riding like as much as I can. I spent like 12-14 hours out there with the horses, it's so much fun. I go on trail rides that last for hours on end, I just get lost out in the woods, and just enjoy the beautiful state that I live in. I really love living here. Sometimes I even bring Kiara along which she loves!

We created a new social networking site called RocketShipz (http://rocketshipz.com) and it's a bit different then these LJ based websites. Check it out, I'd love to see a couple more people on there and if you don't sign up, pass it along to your friends. :)

I really want to get more into PHP coding, maybe...I really want to work on Confessh.us and get more features and things built-in. Plus PHP is a really neat language. I also need to finish my CCNA studies up. I'm like 4-5 chapters from completing the book and I really need to do it now before I forget everything I've learned. I think tomorrow, I will actually pick it up again and get it done :) Chris will be happy/proud of me :)

I've started playing Wolfenstein since I got my Xbox 360 hacked up to the latest firmware. It's awesome :) vaporizing people is excellent.

 These past couple days, I've been really busy working on that new web project, and I'm finally ready to share a bit about it. basically it's a confessions website where people can go and submit confessions (they can be done anonymously, but you must make an account to submit them). Then people can "like" or even comment on them. You can check it out here:

You can see some of the mockups I've been working on by looking at this Flickr set. So pretty much we've got down the idea of what is it and how we want it to work. Now we've just got t get started on coding it up...which is going to be rather interesting since I don't know a whole lot about PHP and MySQL. It'll definitely be a BIG learning project haha.

Right now, there's not much to do other then sign up to get notified when we need beta testing :) But definitely sign up!

Other then that, I've been really busy with the boyfriend and stuff. Had a really nice weekend helping ltdan get OS X installed on his Dell Mini. We probably spent like 24+ hours total trying to get his working. Mine worked in about 45 minutes haha And 95% of that time was waiting for it to install itself haha. I actually wrote about it and took some pictures on WithinMorgan.com so check it out! :)

Yesterday, I finished up some repairs I had and also finished up the 2 scripts needed for Confessh.us. Got home, worked on getting of my written labs or chapter 3 CCNA done. Then I completely finished the last script for Confessh,us and then ltdan and I did our study/review session. I got so angry at one question, but then I figured it out after like 30 minutes of hell. Haha. After that, I worked on Confessh.us some more, and chatted with a couple friends.

I got my 2GB RAM chip in this morning for my Dell Mini netbook, so after I finish this entry I'll install it and the netbook will be much happier :) So that's about all that's going on with me, sorry about not checking/commenting on friends stuff, I've been ridiculously busy! I hope everyone is well!!

 Wow, I've been really busy lately. I've barely been around a computer, except for this evening. I quite enjoy it though. So Friday...

I had consulting and it went really well. Only hit a few snags but I eventually figured them out :) I did spend about 5-6 hours at the place though, so it was good money and good times. Then I went and had lunch with Brian's mom, it was nice. And it wasn't awkward, we just talked about random things and all, and how Brian and I got into each other and stuff. They've always been friends of the family. I never thought I would have dated him, but I guess those sorts of things happen :) After that I cam home, checked my email, probably played some Xbox. Then I started to get ready for the dance that Brian was having at the college he goes too. I was kind of worried that it would be sucky since I don't go to college, and am not really planning to...and it wouldn't be that much fun for me...but it was!

I met up with a few professors who also work other jobs, and a couple of them I had actually done some consulting for, so that was nice. Met up with one of them, that does digital forensics, he was Brian's professor, really cool guy!! I am really interested in that stuff, it's cool Brian is taking the courses, cause I just read some of his books and stuff...FUN!

So then we came home, pretty much just went to sleep.

Saturday, Brian and I went down to Boston. Did a bunch of shopping and eat lots of good food. I had such an amazing time. Went by my old college, shopped at Newbury (got some new Manga), ate at this cute little Italian place, got to ride the T...went to the Prudential. It was amazing. Got home, he made us dinner (omg he rules...), then we just watched movies and passed out.

Today we got TONS of snow, so we (me, Brian and Kiara - my dog) played outside pretty much ALL day! I think we finally came in around 4pm or so. Got a fire started, made some hot chocolate and we all just laid out in-front of the fireplace hehe. Then B made dinner - we hate steak and mashed potatos and stuff, it was so good. He's really amazing. Then he had to go home, so I played on computer only to find out one of the servers got messed up so, ltdan and I spent like 4-5 hours locking everything down, changing passwords, etc...definitely sucked ass. So now I've got a new password (actually like 10 new ones to remember) and they're like completely random characters/letters/numbers haha

So now I'm just wrapping things up, going to be heading to bed very shortly...I'm quite tired.

I started using Twitterrific for my twitter needs. It's pretty cool. I can't believe they way $15 for it though, it's definitely worth $5 maybe haha. Also found a tool very similar to FireBug built-in to Coda...it's quite nice. One of the Panic guys started following me on Twitter, I thought that was cool :) I also updated the CSS on my blog (TeHGeekGirl.com), I wasn't really feeling that bright white haha. I think there's a couple things left i want to tweak, but it's good for me :)

So tomorrow, I plan on perusing through the security manuals for Mac OS X Leopard Server, should be semi-fun :) Also going to hangout with Brian, and that's about it. Just chillen this week, no work, no nothing :)

I got to play some more PS3 Home today cause I was at the office. I didn't play much, maybe an hour, for my lunch break. Met a couple new friends, Jeremiah and D and Kat. Really cool and QUITE funny people! I loved it. It's a really fun thing to do...I like being social hehe. Even though it's online, but whatever. Hehe.

Last night Brian and I were going to watch some movies, but we ended up falling asleep before that could happen. Probably for the best though. I was really tired and he had his last exam this morning. Today I had to work at the office (duh, noted above), got a bunch of work done in the morning, then raf made me get on messenger so I pretty much didn't get anything done the rest of the afternoon. Hehe. We definitely had a good day today, which is nice, cause we've not been having good days lately. We can be so awesome together or we can be a nightmare.

Tomorrow I've got a day full of meetings, mostly to lock in some contracts which is nice, but they're sooooo boring...whatever. It's money so I won't complain.

 Been really busy lately. But definitely been having a lot of fun! Thursday I had a consulting appoint which lasted 4-5 hours as I thought it would. Just had to setup a new server and migrate the data from the old server to the new one. Really simple stuff, but I love doing it. Then Brian and I went out to lunch at this cute little place in town. Had some chicken, it was amazing. Then we pretty much just hung out for the afternoon. We played some more Mario Kart...and I got my butt whipped. I did beat him once or twice though haha.

Then we went to dinner at his parents house. They love me, I love them....although I've pretty much known them forever, but I wasn't dating their son haha. Either way, they're awesome. They seem to be really happy about us and called us a cute couple haha. <3 They made chicken parm for dinner and it was sooooo good, much better then anything I could cook lol. We had some nice pie for dessert too, it was chocolate something, wicked yum.

Then Brian and I watched a movie there and then came back to my house...I ended up playing a little bit of computer, Brian went and played some more of the Biohazard 5 demo, he's more addicted to it then me...which I find to be a bit funny. Then we went to bed around 12:30am or so.

Today is miserable outside, tons of snow, but its also like raining/sleeting. So it's kind of yucky. Definitely a stay inside and snuggle up and watch movies kind of day. I chatted a bit with ltdan  and raf  this morning although their both at lunch this morning. Brian had to work today, so he's off doing that.

I got a bit of work done this morning. jimmy  and I upgraded on the blogs on the network to the new and wonderful WordPress 2.7 software. I really like it. The new admin interface is wonderfully redone. I also started a wiki for all the network operations on the network, so I think LtDan and I will really be taking advantage of it. Finally a central place to document all of our changes and things.

I think I might make some lunch now, getting a bit hungry :) Tonight I've got a party at a friends house, I think we shall go so long as the roads aren't complete ass. I might end up spending the night there, depends on if I drink or not, I will likely not though. Just going to go, meet up with some friends, since everyone is back from college for the most of it for winter break. It'll be good times.

One of the reasons I broke up with my previous boyfriend was because we were always too busy for each other and we could never really get any "us" time. So now of course, it's happening all over again with me and Brian, and it's totally my fault. We'll come home, eat, and I'll plant myself in front of the computer until it's pretty much time to go to bed. He goes off and plays Xbox generally, although the other night he went out and played with Kiara which I thought was the cutest thing, I'll post some pics later, but I felt like such an ass.

From now on, I'm getting off the computer no later then 8pm. It's all I do and it needs to stop, I really enjoy chatting with my online friends, but I think I owe it to this amazing boy to spend more time with him. We both have classes and work, so it's important that we spend more time when we're not doing so, and me sitting around posting aimlessly on FaceBook and AP doesn't really help our relationship.

Last night he told me he was going to take me to dinner at any place of MY choice in either Montreal or Boston. Umm, yeah, best boyfriend ever? It'll be like a Christmas present to each other. I think we'll stay over night too, where ever we choose to go. I've not been to Montreal in god knows how long, but I really love Boston and I know a few good places there. A few friends have suggested a couple places in Boston, but I'm definitely looking for more suggestions, so let me know peepz!

Last night I played some Call of Duty 4 with a good friend, we definitely kicked some ass, but had it handed to us on a few rounds haha Definitely had a good time though. Brian ended up finishing stage one of the Biohazard demo...I haven't yet haha He's working on the second one, I tried playing it and I think I actually got to the end, but my head got chopped off by the boss. He couldn't stop laughing, HA HA...not so funny lol.

Today it was like 60F degrees, but believe it or not, it's snowing like crazy now. This place is all messed up weather-wise. Tonight Brian's coming to help me with barn chores and then I think we're just going to go relax at my house, watch a movie or something...Matty would be proud of me, we actually rented something from iTunes the other night haha Of course I'll go get myself a copy of it....

 Wow, the last few days have been weird! But I think in a good way. Good weird...I know I wrote that I'd be logging off the nets for a couple days, but since this is basically my little journal, I thought it would be similar to writing in a paper one, so this doesn't count ;) I am not checking emails, FaceBook, Twitter, none of it...I'm just writing in here.

Yesterday was raf's birthday. It sounds like he had a pretty good day, a really good day I guess. I'm glad he liked my present. I got him an XBox 360 w/ Call of Duty 4 and we ended up playing for a couple hours. I definitely had fun. I can really get more kills without that stupid cast (which is being put back on today unfortunately). I doubt they'll do it in pink, but you never know, I'm going to ask anyways.

I think I am pretty much over being sick which is really nice. I basically just had a sore throat and a bit of a runny nose for a couple days. I was definitely miserable during those days, but it's better then being sick for weeks. I'm still taking a couple meds to get me through the day, but it's not too bad anymore.

So I told Rafael that I wanted to get another tattoo, I was thinking of getting something that would make me laugh each time I saw it, something related to me and him, but he just said he hates tattoos and not to talk to about it with him, oh well. I'll figure something cool out. I thought about getting a couple little Mario stars or something cute ^__^ not sure though.

So apparently him and this girl are going to hook up. I won't name names because this is a public entry and I promised him I would keep my mouth shut (for the moment). I think it's totally awesome! I'm all for it, but he seems to down about it, I mean yeah I'm definitely not going to be the same girl around him when he does and now knowing but it's not like I'm that much different, HA HA HA I can still be funny. I don't really know if I want to talk more about the subject. I really feel good about them though, I think if that makes him the happiest boy in the world, then I'll be the happiest girl in the world for him. I'm totally behind him 100%!

So it snowed again last night, I've got like an inch or two on my lawn, and it's pretty :) Tonight I am going out to dinner with Nikki and I think we might go to the movies too. I know this might sound odd, but I think I am going to focus on my real life friends, not that I don't care about my friends online, because I most definitely do. I just have so many good people here that I can hug and hold and talk face to face with. And I know I make it that way, and because I do I think I should start doing so. This weekend I don't really have plans, I don't know what I am going to do, maybe I'll go hangout with my brother and his friends for a bit.

I played through some of the Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts demo last night. I couldn't stop giggling. It reminded me of so many good times back in the day, Nintendo 64, staying up late with friends playing Mario Kart and all. I think I am going to buy the guide for the full game, I remember needing it for the N64 version cause of all the music notes, and puzzle pieces, but now it looks like they've introduced like "go-karts" or something...I love Mumbo Jumbo! EEECOMPOKUM! :)
