The Big Finale
The city of Star City looked deserted. The citizens had either fled or had been turned into black lanterns. At the heart of the city was the entity known as Nekron. Nekron used the city as his base as his black lanterns ravaged the Earth.

The black lanterns increased their numbers each day and the power levels of the black lantern battery increased with each person that died.

Soon Nekron would have enough power to obliterate all life on this planet.

And I'm going to need you to stay hidden, and help keep reminding me of that. I know what these things aren't, thanks to remembering Hand's time in charge... but in addition to having my father's form, he has J'onn's powers. He defeated the Justice League every time they fought. He's going to be doing everything he can to bring Hand back. I... think, power to power, if I don't manifest, I have a chance to beat him... but I need you to be strong for both of us, a little longer.

	A matching set of blasts come back, countering the assault. "Fear? No surprise there. A knock-off of a knock-off has plenty to be scared of, and plenty of people to be scared of you. But love?" A yellow shield takes the brunt of the green construct, Sinestro's might battling Hal's in an age-old conflict. Ty doesn't need to cause fear any more than Amazo... or Kid Amazo, need will. Even so, he feels as if the yellow and violet should be wavering - after all, he agrees, he has no right, and frequently no desire for these powers.

"Maybe, but I've lived with the burden of them... unlike you. You took the easy way out, before you ever knew you had a son, before you ever saw my mother a second time. You're the one who couldn't hack it... who has no right to be here."

He lashes out with psionic force.

	Kid Amazo dodges, cackling as he takes to the ground and then barrels along at supersonic speeds, trying to catch Ty with shockwaves. "Aw. Cry me a river, kiddo. Tell you what, though. He gets slammed back by the shockwaves, tumbling head over heels. He's about to respond, when the 'sweet little thing' is mentioned. He's about to go after Kid Amazo, when he hears Ruth's encouragement, and re-centers himself, reminding himself not to fall into that trap, don't let this mockery dictate the battle.

He manifests a trident instead, summoning up a vortex of water, sending tendrils launching at Kid Amazo, trying to pen him in to limit the use of super speed.

	It works, and he's tripped up by the shots, leaving a massive rut as he crashes into the ground. He flies back a heartbeat later, intangible, and healing from the damage he took. 	He screams even as he holds an arm up, blocking the beams, but feeling the Kryptonian power blazing into his arm anyway. And intangibility... lovely. He responds to the blast with a blast of psychic power in turn. If he can't affect him physically, that may still work. "You died once, and left us alone. Now you can die again." 	The psychic attack works, but Kid Amazo's undead state sends back what can't be a pleasant sensation at all. "Haven't...." He lurches to his feet. "Haven't you noticed, tyke? Death is on MY side." There's a flicker of dust, and the space he occupied is left vacant. He comes back into few just inches in front of Ty, uppercut already closing in. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	It connects, but Ty instinctively switches to Deathstroke's combat style, assessing the punch and rolling with it. It hurts, but not as bad as it might have, and a fist, glowing yellow, spins back around with that momentum. "And life is on mine. I've seen the book of the black. 	The punch tears into Kid Amazo's body, blood and circuitry spilling in equal measure, as the Black Lantern is sent reeling. Still, he regenerates. *"Life sucks, then you die."* Super-hearing perks up, and Kid Amazo sneers as he takes off, grabbing a civilian with each hand a mile away, and flying up half a mile. 	He should know better, but people in trouble are people in trouble, whatever the risk. He closes his eyes and concentrates, leaving himself open as he teleports the people safely out of his father's grasp and to another city, disoriented, but alive. (Reply to this)(Parent)
