Cait jumped and turned around. Of course it was her father. Who else would show up right when she was kissing Ty?

She now knew the reason why he hadn't come to the surface to drag her back to Poseidionis. Despite the awkwardness of the current moment, she was glad to see he was okay.

She turned her attention back to Ty. Her father could wait a moment while she helped Ty to his feet.

	Healing factor or no, he's still feeling jellyfishlike after all that. As soon as she lets go, he drops, his head hitting the stone floor hard enough to crack the floor with a loud thunk He stumbles a few times while she tries to help him up, but he finally manages it, though remaining kind of wobbly. 	"I am not," she insisted as she used a water whip against another charging parademon. "Ty just fought Mongul, Father. He held his own against Mongul and probably saved us all." Dinadan brings Tris in to perch on the edge of the shield and gives Ty a look.

"You took on Mongul. After he tried to mash me and Henry under a few tons of rock," he says. "I am deeply in favor of not being mashed under rocks, and believe me, I have experience. Take the credit."

He looks around as the last group of former prisoners from the room full of Black Mercies pour into the room. He hoped that they brought the gloves with them. Trophies were important, and those gloves would come in handy next time they had to deal with Black Mercy.

"Did we get everyone or did he stash some people somewhere else?"
