(Not) Just a Normal Day At Avengers' Mansion
Svalin and Tryggvi just landed on the small lawn in the back of the Avengers Mansion. Svalin had been getting antsy and decided to take Tryggvi out for a flight around New York. They were both feeling too confined. At least at the Defenders compound there was room to move around and a nice ocean breeze. There were too many tall buildings in New York and they were all too close.

Svalin dismounted and immediately removed the saddle. She let it fall on the ground and then removed the bridle. She smiled and lightly rubbed Tryggvi's nose before placing a kiss on his forehead. "Thank you, my friend. 'Twas a most enjoyable flight."

Iason is struck by the odd blasts, and seems to almost freeze in place before tumbling out of the air and crashing down hard. The other eternals present may note that while he's conscious, he seems to be having to devote his attention to not discorporating, the blasts from Kang, resequenced, being just the right frequency to disrupt his conscious hold on his molecular structure.

	Having trusted the others to handle Kang, Sarah throws herself into the robots, trying to buy people time. On hearing Charlie's call, without hesitation, she flings her shield to him, pulling Mjolnir out of her satchel bag and focuses on fighting with it - probably the first time Svalin has seen Sarah wielding the hammer. 	“O come on!” Ryan dodged most of the projectiles that were thrown back at him and got himself behind some cover. Since the weapons were crushed all they did was some blunt force damage but nothing Ryan could walk off for now though it would hurt like hell. 	The sounds of battle were ones she knew well and she had been stabling Tryggvi when the sounds reached her. She grabbed a fist full of Tryggvi's mane and vaulted aboard the horse. The horse charged out of the small stable and took to the air. Svalin drew her sword and flew directly at Kang. "FOR ASGARD!" she yelled and raised her sword. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Kang senses the approach of the littlest Avenger, and projects a force field that snaps into place around Vernique.

He seems to pause as two new players, not in his projections, enter the fray. He maintains the assault on the others as he alters his projections. One of the robots hurls one of crushed but still rough-edged knifes, at the Asgardian steed, aiming for its flank.

Two more of the robots activate the sonic weapons, focusing on the human Avengers, trying to disable them next, the Eternals already incapacitated.

Kang turns to a display on his gauntlet. There is something unexpected here besides the new recruits, something potentially valuable.

	Steve had been away from Avengers mansion (having taken a sky-cycle on patrol), and had returned to find the mansion in chaos. Kang. ...Crap. He swooped low toward Kang and, at the last second, leapt off the cycle to let it crash into him. He hoped. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The noise the sonic emitters make it to think and cause a lot of mental pain Ryan has to fight to remain conscious which is a losing battle. With not a lot of options Ryan throws his adamantium combat knife and his last weapon towards the nearest emitter with as much speed and strength as he can muster. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

A robot catches the adamantium knife, only to be smashed apart by Mjolnir. As robots fall under Sarah's assault, they still reassemble themselves from whatever parts still remotely function. They swarm her, releasing intensely strong energy pulses.

Kang draws a sword of his own and meets Svalin's charge, meeting her own blow and lashing at her horse again as they pass one another. It is the place of the warrior on foot to remind cavalry that they are not invulnerable.

	He knows this drill. "Clear the space and keep the robots in small clusters!" he commands. Kang already knows what he's thinking, so why edit it? Iron Man knows from experience that compared to an Asgardian warrior the rest of them were just warm-up acts. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Svalin wasn't riding just any horse. She was riding a battle trained Asgardian mount. Tryggvi avoided the blow without unbalancing his rider. They worked as one unit. Tryggvi came around and Svalin raised her sword for another swing. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Well that didn’t go as planned but at least the sonic attack was for now off him, however Ryan didn’t have any weapons and facing any of these guys unarmed was probably not a smart idea and the ringing in his ears didn’t help much either. Eli wants to go to his cousin's aid and get them out of this place, but he cannot do so while others are in trouble. He's been attacked in his own home and knows the desire to defend it.

He sees Sarah and Svalin go into action against the invader, and obeys Iron Man's commands, teleporting out of the reach of a nearby robot and trying to the keep the robots diverted long enough for the Svalin and Sarah to bring down Kang.

One of the robots gets the drop on Eli, however, and he is hit with the pulse as well finding himself unable to act further in his cousin's defense.

Every footprint in this time, in what would be Kang's time, must be made with care, but the Avengers were routing the robots, the new arrivals' strength of arms having thrown the previous schematic into disarray.

It was time to allow for a larger footprint.

Another portal opens and reinforcements arrive. The Growing Man emerges and swings a massive fist down at the human Avengers.

Kang continues his duel with the Asgardian, relishing the physical combat.

But one must remember, the Conqueror didn't get where he is today/tomorrow by fighting fair. Missiles launch from the remaining robots, assaulting the mount and rider, while Kang strikes another blow against the horse.

	Sarah frowns as the robots put themselves back together, taking a couple hits in the process. She batters through them again, trying to get back to help the others. The next time she takes a robot apart, violently, she tries a jolt of electricity from the hammer to try and overload it enough to keep it down. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Captain Marvel had been at home unpacking but he'd finally gotten permission from his parents to go see the Avengers and ask to join up like his parents before him had. Of course he wasn't expecting any kind of fight to be going on but he was eager to join in and help.

A flash of gold and a blur of red and blue came before Captain Marvel shot towards the Growing Man's fist with both of his outstretched in effort to keep him from squishing the human Avengers.

Kang's forces move on all fronts as his objective seems to change. Before the Asgardian can close the distance again, he grabs the now encased miniature Avenger, preparing to brandish the cubic force field as a shield.

As Growing Man begins laying waste to the surroundings, the guard robots change focus. They each rush to surround each Avenger as tightly as possible, then self-destruct violently.

	Eli isn't doing so well at the moment, trying as hard as he can to keep himself held together. He tries to his best to put up a telekinetic shield around himself, Iason and Kalypso to fend off the worst of the blast, but he knows it's not going to be enough to save them.
