Teaming Up
The Masters of Evil had attacked the Thunderbolts headquarters and had made off with Victor's body and with it a way to eventually access Ultron's files on the Avengers. It was a situation where a collaboration of the Thunderbolts with another team was needed. They needed to get Victor's body back as soon as possible.

The Thunderbolts made the trip to New York and were gathered in the conference room at Avengers Mansion along with the Avengers. They needed to discuss strategy and form a plan to retrieve Victor's body.

Anya sat back in her chair and let her brother take the lead. James was more experienced with leading a team and if anyone could get them to all work together as one big team, he could.

	Akilah didn't like the group called The Thunderbolts. As far as Akilah was concerned, you couldn't truly reform villains. They would always have tendencies. But that point was moot. If the Avengers were going to work together with them to defeat the Masters of Evil, then so be it. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

More and more of the people on the Avengers side become familiar to the Hood as she watches them enter. The two goody-goods from a couple of months ago are sitting on the other side of the room, as is the royal broad from that dog and pony show they called a meeting of the minds for the mystics.

She wonders idly whatever happened with that, but that gets pushed aside, because there's real business to discuss right now.

	Molly wasn't a reformed villain. Her parents were villains, and she heroed to make up for what they'd done, but she wasn't one. Still. This was as awkward as all hell. 	For occasions such as team meetings, Luna wore her shades. Seeing people's emotions wasn't really something that she liked to deal with when there was business to attend to. Figuring it's not going to get any easier if he delays, Victor walks into the room, clearing his throat to call everyone's attention.

"I'd like to thank you all for coming together on short notice. For those of you who don't know me, my name is Victor Mancha. I was built by Ultron as part of a long-term plan of his to destroy... well, pretty much everyone. But superheroes especially, starting with the Avengers.

In our recent conflict with the Masters of Evil, my head was removed from the rest of my body, and they made off with it. We don't think it was a pre-meditated theft, just a matter of circumstance at the time. The problem is that they now have all the equipment Ultron built into me to coordinate with the contingency plans I was programmed with. Our primary concern is that it may only be a matter of time before they can reverse engineer those programs."

Trying to play this whole thing off as calmly as possible, he nods to James for him to take over.

He does his best not to look around the room, but he's just waiting for someone to comment on the fact that he's currently skull-mounted on what was going to be Darlene's body.

"Thank you, Victor, for starting the meeting before we even got around to the introductions," James said, clearly quite annoyed. "Since we all don't know each other, I thought I would at least put names to faces."

One by one James went around the table and said the names and what team they were on.

"Now that we all know who we all are, let's get down to business. The Masters of Evil have Victor's body. With time they will be able to reverse engineer a way to get the contingency plans to destroy the Avengers."

"We need to get that body back before they can do this."

"So it occurs to me, they have some big hitters. But we don't need to beat them, we just need the body back. With what we have, we could outmaneuver them, pull a bait and switch. From what I remember of that little incident a while back, they want James and Anya. If we dangle them out there a little, turn this into a running fight and stretch them out, we can negate a lot of their power advantage, send a small stealth crew in to snatch the body, then yank Anya and James out of reach and leave them with nothing."

"Well, that's just fine, because /I/ happen to be really fond of the whole stealth bit, so I'm up for the team that goes in to get the body." the Hood says.

Now, while she doesn't necessarily want to see anyone die or get captured, she at least /knows/ the Thunderbolts...so they get the "Associates" discount. The Avengers...no, they don't.

"So, yeah." she finishes.

"I was thinking along the same lines," James said. "We have one group to distract them and one group to grab the body. If we can manage to apprehend some of them and return them to SHIELD custody, that's great, but the objective is getting Victor's body back."

"Kelly, Melissa, Jack, Luna and Sydney will be our stealth team. The rest of us are the distraction. Kal will be coordinating between the two teams. Any questions?"

Elise just sat quietly and listened. She wasn't a villain, never had been, had actively been running away from a mega villain since her early teens, but she knew enough about narrow-mindedness thanks to said villain to know that a good portion of the people assembled wouldn't listen to a word she said that wasn't filtered through the horrifying lens of her surname.

Though she one-hundred percent agreed with the stealth/distraction split and focused herself on determining which of her blasts would be of most use.
