But It's My Day Off!
It pained him to admit it, but Vincent had been somewhat remiss lately. In spite of their decision to date one another exclusively, he'd hardly been able to make any time for Asleif. It wasn't as if she'd been hounding him for it, as she seemed thoroughly absorbed in her world travels, but it bothered him, and rightfully so.

A painstakingly thorough clearing of his schedule for a day had been arranged, along with putting together an itinerary of things to do together. He'd even gone the extra mile and asked MacKenzie the favor of being on standby for any F4 related emergencies in his stead (with a caveat that if magic was involved, he should be contacted immediately).

And so, crafting the most precise veil he knew how to, he will slip up behind the object of his affections as she thinks she is off and alone.

"My lady." Comes a whisper over her shoulder, as he manages to keep the tone soft in spite of his grin.

Vincent smirks. "Amazing what a dedicated workforce of what some would call the greatest empire in history, and appropriate planning, can yield. Remind me to show you some of the simulation room scenarios Kristoff programmed of the Renaissance."

He changes their outfits again as he escorts her through the main entrance. In this day and age, photos and footage from Paris would already be online, and he doesn't wish to be recognized again.

Mid afternoon in Rome gave way to late evening in Tokyo. Vincent went the extra mile in disguising them this time, dressing them as particularly ill-fashioned American tourists. Hawaiian shirts and khaki shorts mandatory.

"There's a wonderful place for udon and dumplings just a little off the beaten path, and a number of the shopping and video arcades are open until the late hours.." There was a little bit of strain in his voice at this point in the day, but optimism endured. Mercifully, he still had the better part of a full day ahead of them, and the constitution to go without sleep for longer than even the most devoted mortal partiers.

	Asleif had been rather taken aback by the choice of clothing, but said nothing about it. She was a novice when it came to the workings of the mortal world still, even with those memories she retained that were not hers. She smiled slightly. "We are in... Japan, I believe?" Trust us, lady, Vincent's not thrilled with it either.

"Yes, Tokyo. The 'center' of their nation in much the way that New York is for America." He raises his chin a bit with pride.

"And just about one of the most vibrant cities you'll find on this side of the globe." He grins, taking in the eclectic fashions of most of the youth, the salarymen deep into their drinks as they were free of their offices, and just the pulse of the metropolis.
