Showdown in Brazil
The helicopter carrying the members of the Suicide Squad, Damien Wilson, Morgaine King, and Slade Wilson made closed in on its target. The League of Assassins Compound in the Amazon Rainforest in Brazil. The helicopter bore the appearance of one the helicopters that the League used frequently, so they would be able to get in without much hassle.

The pilot informed Damien that they would be touching down in ten minutes, and the assembled group looked to him for briefing.

Quite the turn of events he was mixed up in, Vertigo reflected. Bad company, to be certain, though the money was well worth a little tarnish. Vertigo knew that he himself was a killer, and that he had done innumerable things that outsiders (and Americans in particular) might well call "bad." But he was not without his own sense of right and wrong either.

And here, at least, they were on the side of, at least, less wrong.

Morgaine and I will rescue our mother, followed by engaging and killing Ra's al Ghul." Damien says.

"Once this is over, should we all survive, your contracts will be honored and you can go your separate ways." he says.

"Head fifty meters southeast and you'll find the kitchen area entrance. Be alert, however. Ra's will seek to ambush and divide us, before killing us. Do not underestimate him." Damien says.

"There are holding cells in the basement and sub-basement. I expect that Lian would be held there, probably shackled to a wall. My grandfather is that sadistic." Damien informs them.

	Damien moved quickly through the halls, leading Morgaine toward the library. It was one of the largest rooms in the compound and Damien couldn't help but think their grandfather might be there. 	Damien is very pale, sitting in his chair with his fingers steepled. When Talia gets near to him, she will feel the slickness beneath her feet. There is blood on the floor. "She left me, Mother."
