A flash of green caught Cait's eye and for a moment she thought it was Henry, but when she looked over it wasn't Henry. It was his dad, Hal. Henry and Dinadan had found the adults and had been successful in waking them up. This was definitely good news and much needed help.

She smiled and whipped a tentacle of water at a few parademons.

/The adults are waking up/ she sent to Ty. /Just hold in there a little longer./

	Traya, too, was running just about on empty. She'd never used her powers in a real fight before (truthfully, she just barely had any kind of control over them at all) and she was just about spent. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

*I'm trying. I don't know how much I have left but...* In the middle of the fight, for the first time, he senses something fromn the ring.
*But this ring tells me... he's afraid. He's actually afraid of me. I... don't know how much he has left either. I seem to have mostly overwhelmed his rings. It just hurts.*
Not as intentionally, however, she can sense his exact sentiment. Even if it kills him, for her, he'll keep fighting, do whatever it takes.

He forces time to bend further and further, speeding himself up as he launches punch after punch, and stands up to punch after punch, now just trying to outlast Mongul.

Mongul gets to his feet after being knocked back by Ty's latest blow.

He can take down the boy. He's sure of it.

But then... he sees Hal Jordan approaching as well.

And if Jordan is free...then the other heroes will be along shortly.

And all of his allies are here, too.

If he went toe to toe with them all, he'd probably kill a few of them before they took him down... but then he'd be captured. His rings would be removed and destroyed.

Time to retreat.

"Another time, boy," he spits... and then he's gone.

He could have kept going - he's sure of it. For Cait, for the others, he's sure he could have found it in himself. But now that the threat is gone, he suddenly finds himself weak in the knees and feeling hollow. There's just nothing left other than splitting migraine and pain in places he didn't know he had. A strange sensation for someone who, til now, has never really been hurt.

He stops hovering, and as soon as he does, he collapses.

	"TY!" Cait yelled when she felt the bond break. Something happened to Ty and.... She pulled the water tentacles back and started running toward Ty. Cait jumped and turned around. Of course it was her father. Who else would show up right when she was kissing Ty?

She now knew the reason why he hadn't come to the surface to drag her back to Poseidionis. Despite the awkwardness of the current moment, she was glad to see he was okay.

She turned her attention back to Ty. Her father could wait a moment while she helped Ty to his feet.

	Healing factor or no, he's still feeling jellyfishlike after all that. As soon as she lets go, he drops, his head hitting the stone floor hard enough to crack the floor with a loud thunk He stumbles a few times while she tries to help him up, but he finally manages it, though remaining kind of wobbly. 	"I am not," she insisted as she used a water whip against another charging parademon. "Ty just fought Mongul, Father. He held his own against Mongul and probably saved us all."
