Checking on the home team
Commander Fontaine, Deputy Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., made the rounds when the special ops team came back in. After their last disastrous outing, she wanted to make sure they were still in one cohesive piece. The reports had been favorable.

She hadn't met the newest member yet, though she knew the contents of his file. She'd been the one to have it sent to Sammy for consideration. Her little gun nut, and Walker and Dugan, could always use someone with the ability to build a better gun.

Sammy's report had been terse but informative. The others' a little more informative. Landon was next on her list.

	Jason likes the feel of her arms around him and turns his head slightly for a kiss. "All right, that sounds good. Let's start with those omelets and bacon. Then Ah'll toast you a waffle." he says. "Ah don't know you can be as ruthless as the Mad Scientist. He went to the College of Ruthlessness and Despicability, right alongside Doctors Evil, Horrible, and Claw. They all have a class photo together." Jason tells her.

"Besides, Ah don't believe you can truly be ruthless. You, to quote a wise man, are the Diet Coke of Ruthless. Just one calorie." Tech says, the challenge evident is his gaze as he steps back.

"Oh yeah. Ah said it. What are you gonna do?"

Sammy only grinned and set the bacon down.

She 'appeared' behind him and pressed up close. Her hand was tangled in his damp hair and pulling him back so his ear was in whisper distance. Her aorher arm wound over his chest to keep him in position.

"Diet Coke of Ruthless, am I?" Her lips brushed his ear as she said it. "I'll show you ruthless." She set het teeth against his earlobe and bite down gently. "I dare you to say it again."

Jason's heart rate jumped up to about a million beats a minute when Sammy grabbed him. The heat of her breath on his earlobe caught him off guard, along with her fingers in his hair. Still, this was an interrogation test of some kind. One never knew when one would need this knowledge in the field.

So, he had to keep the agent talking.

"Oh, Ah'm sorry. Ah seem to have stumbled into Amateur Ruthlessness 101. Ah was lookin' for the advanced course.

You know, the one not being taught by the Diet Coke of Ruthlessness. Just one calorie." he smirks.

	"Ah agree, /Ruthless/ Professor Fury. Seducin' me doesn't get you fed as fast as you'd like." he grins, laying a hand over hers for a minute. She located a suitable bowl and began cracking eggs. "I will have to file reports on what happened here, especially with the team already involved with the Savoy investigation." 	"Ah figured as much, and Ah know you're doin' what you gotta do." Jason says, making sure that the bacon doesn't burn. As soon as the strips get crisp enough, he removes them and sets new strips to frying. "Downtime is good, though. He has no idea what these items are, and he's pretty sure he doesn't want to, either. He'd offer to let Sammy have them for her own information, but he'd promised Gran he'd go over the info.

He continues cooking bacon silently, seeking a change of topic.

"Hm. Music is in order." Jason says.

She let him change the subject, concentrating on getting various items ready to go into the omelets - cheese, tomatoes, a bit of onion for flavor. She intended to get a few slices of bacon crumbled and in the omelet.

The other would come, eventually, and she would use the information about Tech's grandfather to help him and keep his mind from imploding.

With the pan ready, Sammy poured in the beaten egg mixture. Cheese and "The question is, what music?"
