Checking on the home team
Commander Fontaine, Deputy Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., made the rounds when the special ops team came back in. After their last disastrous outing, she wanted to make sure they were still in one cohesive piece. The reports had been favorable.

She hadn't met the newest member yet, though she knew the contents of his file. She'd been the one to have it sent to Sammy for consideration. Her little gun nut, and Walker and Dugan, could always use someone with the ability to build a better gun.

Sammy's report had been terse but informative. The others' a little more informative. Landon was next on her list.

She finished putting things in the fridge and turned around to lean against the counter. "As much fun as this has been, I need to get back to New York. Of course you'll want to stay longer with your grandmother. It'll probably be good for both you. I can catch a flight out of Shreveport in the morning. If you'd like, I'll be happy to fly back when you're ready and drive the SUV. Or..." light bulb "I'll fly back with a small transport and we can take the stuff we collected from the warehouse, including Legion."
