The Big Finale!
The brides were clad in white and lined up in front of the altar. A semi-circle of priests stood behind the brides and were chanting. The magic in the air became more powerful as the priests chanted. A small circle appeared in the air before the brides and started to get bigger.

Standing behind the priests was a large group of deviants. They were witnessing the rebirth of their god into the mortal realm. It was an honor and privilege to be witness to this historic moment.

	Cait was tired by the time they reached the city. She had kept a bubble of air around the blackbird and was tired from using her powers so much. Stil, she wasn't going to stand by. 	The oversized creature laughs as the tentacles do rend his form, but it heals. It doesn't look like flesh healing itself, more like a semi-solid re-settling after being disturbed. "Little water lady's tricks tickle Gooth! Gooth show you now!" There's a disgusting gurgling sound from his diaphragm, before he spews forth a sticky gel at Cait. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The gel sizzles on the ground and rock where it lands, adhering to it. Then there's a loud squelching noise as Gooth's body goes almost flat, before slipping through a hole in the assault. "Nasty stupid humans!" He roars, smashing apart the rock formations with his bare hands, before flailing his head around, spraying more of the gel. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Corey tries to reform the barrier, but not before he's wincing and hissing, and so is a bit of his skin: the rather squared off stance for good terrakinesis doesn't keep one quick on one's feet, and there'll be a burn mark on Corey's hand as well as some damage to his costume sleeve later. 	Cait put up a water shield, but some of the gel hit her anyway. Some landed on her arms and chest. It burned and she used some water to wash it away. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The gel doesn't wash away easily, as it's only meant to prime it's victims for horrors yet to come. Gooth sneers and lets out a gurgling laugh as something else works it's way up, before flying from his mouth. Balefire, far stronger than normal, and attracted to wherever the gel already landed. 	Corey strengthens the barrier as much as he can before the fire hits it, and it helps a lot, even if it's beyond melted afterwards. The heat's still near overpowering..it's just not given much chance to ignite the gel. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Gooth grows, disappointed there's not more burning, and rushes forward, body-slamming into the barriers. They jut into his body, and begin dissolving, as he continues smashing at them with his fists. "Stupid humans can't beat Gooth! Gooth melt you all!" (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Gooth lets out a gurgle of pain as his insides shift about unpleasantly. He hardens his body, starting the climb out of the hole, pit by now really. "Stupid human monkey tricks! Gooth coming for you!" A tell-tale gurgling indicates the preparation of more acid gel as a bulky arm comes out of the top of the hole. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The monsterform roars his displeasure and lifts his head up, spraying the area with the acidic gel like a fountain. As the last of it trickles out, he puts his full attention on breaking apart the ice sheet and freeing himself from the pit. Ice crystals are visibly forming inside Gooth's body, but are seemingly dissolved by the acid. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Gooth sputters as the water hits him in the face, thrashing as he flails his limbs, finally hurling himself over the edge of the hole and scampering away from it on all fours. He screams, acid still dripping from his jaws as he turns around.

"Goosh finish you good now monkeys..." He braces himself on all fours, rearing back his head and preparing to release his balefire.

Mason had already withdrawn from his fight with the dark-skinned humanoid Deviant, when he found himself stumbling away from crossfires into even more complications.

"Acid! Why is there acid everywhere?!"

Wait... acid. Acid! He knows how to deal with acid! That was the experiment with the volcano. Basic stuff.

Only.... now much much more acid and coming out of a monster...

Regardless!

Mason started making handfuls of base compound and flinging it around at the burning spots from the monster's acid, trying to back up the two others already fighting it.

	Gooth fumbled to get over the edge, the rocks the tiny human was throwing fizzling as they contacted with him, causing him to slip back into the shifting ground. He let loose his balefire, which sought out the remaining acid gel. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
