What's one embarrassing childhood memory that you can look back at and laugh at?

I'll go first-

When I was five, I was going to marry Cerdian. I had the whole wedding planned out, down to the napkins.

	When I was real little I wanted to be a fireman and when around Mom’s apartment and the museum “rescuing” things. Mom thought it was adorable and has it a bit better documented than I would like. (Reply to this)

	I used to run around in armor made to look like Mother's. I used to challenge any guests that came over, and Mother and Father had to warn them about me in advanced. 	I would try to perform Gilbert and Sullivan for Mom and Dad. I can carry a tune very well but back then my voice was just very soft from the cybornetics making me tire easily. (Reply to this)

Late in the year of being five, early in the year of being six, I had my first Latverian Interest phase. I read up on it. I programmed the communication systems in the Baxter building to play the national anthem -- how can anyone not be fascinated by a national anthem containing the line 'And all our foes are slain'?-- instead of just beeping.

Dad quietly enjoyed it, but Mom was uncomfortable and Uncle Vincent looked between sulking and feigning illness, so he quickly fixed it.

	First time I tried to dye my hair, and found out radiation and dyes don't always mix. It looked fine when I left the house. By the time I got to school my hair was striped neon blue and pastel green, and smelled like it was burning. (Reply to this)

	That would be the three weeks following discovering x-ray vision... or it discovering me. What I didn't know was how to turn it off. It kind of came and went until Dad noticed me very carefully not looking at Iris or Traya... or Diana, and figured it out. Before that, I wasn't quite sure how to bring that one up. (Reply to this)

The beginning of my music career. Three friends and I knew we liked punk music and all, so we decided in first grade we should form a band. A punk band. Which meant taking scissors to our school clothes, punk haircuts... but even the mohawks and spikes and all weren't enough. Sadly, we also didn't quite get how dye worked, so we used house paint... which, incidentally, does not come out of human hair easily. I don't even remember what all we wrecked to build instruments, but I got the distinct impression some of it was expensive.

	I told my dad I wanted to be Spider-man when I grew up. Mom bought me Spidey Underoos and I ran around the Institute climb trees in them. Then I wanted to be Superman. I had a red towel for a cape and my Spidey Underoos. I tried to fly off the mansion roof. Maybe Dad was more embarrassed than I was. (Reply to this)(Thread)
