Character Q&A
"Hello and welcome to the first installment of character Q&A. During tonight's session we will be talking to Miss Mia Dearden and Mister Jordan Bochs.

Let's meet our two characters and get to know a little bit about them before we start taking some questions.

First up is the lovely Mia Dearden. She is the adoptive daughter of billionaire Oliver Queen. Her interests include archery, martial arts, swords and patrolling the streets looking to stop crime.

Second up is the handsome Jordan Bochs. Jordan is a member of Canada's premier superhero team Alpha Flight. When Jordan isn't out providing Alpha Flight muscle he enjoys watching hockey, going snowboarding, tormenting his younger brother and spending time with his lovely teammate and girlfriend Emily McAndrews.

Now comes the point where you get to ask either of these fine young heroes questions. Please keep the questions this side of appropriate and remember the person being asked can politely refuse to answer any question."

"Thanks for the introduction, and hello all. And remember, appropriate is subjective. Sorry ladies, my girlfriend has specifically said I'm not allowed to give out my phone number."

"Oh, that's easy. I'd be competing in the X-Games, if they let me compete. If not, I'd be a commentator for them and probably be getting into some stunt piloting, since crashes don't matter. Maybe eventually do some test piloting, testing BMX bikes, gliders, that kind of thing. I still love extreme sports... Alpha Flight is just more important."

You've got something of a reputation as a big ol' whore ladies man... how does your current girlfriend feel about that?

"You'd need to ask her. But you know, given that she knew my rep, and our first conversation had to do with the possibilities of her mud wrestling Marrina... and she still summoned the mistletoe... I think she's ok with me being a manwhore. I'm just her manwhore."

"Another good one. You know, the problem with cars is that they don't make a lot of the really fun ones for tall people. I love tinkering with sports cars and classic restorations, but they're impossible to get behind the wheel of, which kind of reduces the 'favorite' value. On the other hand, I'd really, really love to get a chance to drive a monster truck. One of those things I haven't done yet. Otherwise, my favorite so far was a junker 1970 Ford Torino... but that was mostly because I had refitted it and was driving it in a crash-up derby. Also a lot of fun."

"Huh, you know, odd as it may sound, I've never thought about immortality. I may be lapsed, but I think I'm still too Catholic, not too mention too much of a 'right now' kind of person to say yes. I'm in no hurry to die, but I don't think I'd do well as an immortal either."

"One of my last remnants of growing up in Montreal - Go Canadiens... but these days, with hockey where its at, I almost prefer development leagues. Still, Canadiens over everyone, Canada over U.S. teams - especially the last Canadien team in the playoffs, and everyone else before teams from places that don't get snow most years."

"I'm a reporter for the Star City Gazette. I'm not exactly Lois Lane yet, but maybe one day I'll counting my own Pulitzers. I also spend a fair amount of my time down at the Star City Youth Center. A lot of those kids came from the same type of background that I did, so I'd like to do all that I can to help them."

"I may have started out as 'legacy', when I first picked up the Speedy mantle, but since then, I'd like to believe that I forged my own identity. I hope that helps to answer your question."

Jordan, has being adopted ever placed any strain on the relationship between you and the Jeffries?

Mia, with your own unorthodox parental relationships with Green Arrow and Black Canary, how do you identify with the rest of the Arrow 'clan'?

"Ooohhh, good question. Yeah, sure, of course. Its not like they adopted a baby and raised me from day 1. I didn't know them, they didn't know me. Different religion, and suddenly having space, my own room, privacy... was harder to adjust to than you'd think. And it was really rough on Mason - I mean, can you imagine his perspective? He's an only kid, everything is his, undivided attention... and then he not only has a brother, but an older, bigger one? Ok, ok, so they could have adopted a kitten, and it might have been bigger than Mason, but that's not the point. Yeah, it got easier after a while, but the first year and some were hard."
