	Rose was a universe away from her mother, but Rachel, bless the stick-up her butt Summersspawn, had been gracious enough to share hers. Which she went along with just to be polite. Not that she needed it. Right. (Reply to this)

Vincent had several women whose care he felt he would have been lost without, but he was less than confident about approaching them directly.

Not wanting to intrude too much on anything Franklin and Valeria had planned, Vincent had flowers and a nice bottle of wine sent to Susan.

He made a contribution to Kristoff's picnic for Cassandra.

Flowers, and a steak and cabbage platter had been sealed into stasis containers and sent into Moira and Danielle's care to be passed on to Lady Rahne whenever they had the means to do so.

And on top of the Baxter building, left sitting on the edge of the roof, held down by a small paperweight, is a piece of parchment. On it, in runes, is written a thanks for being born, and for being sent to Midgard. The same as every year. If it wasn't taken, the wind would pull it away in due time anyway. He'd never been able to bring himself to monitor for which happened.

	Justin surprises Pepper with a card on Mother's Day, and spends a few hours talking to her about things. He's been given a second chance with his mother in this dimension, and he plans to use it. (Reply to this)

	His own mother abandoned him as a baby, and Aunt Jenna's grave was back home in Sydney. So, Joey decided to keep with this years tradition and go to the closest pond and skip rocks on the water, like he and Jenna did on all major holidays. He missed her and wondered if she'd approve of Rose and the man he was becoming. (Reply to this)

	After helping Zoey get a gift for her mother, Avery calls home and speaks to his own, telling her that things are great out west, and that he has something big to tell her when he comes home this summer. He also calls his younger sister to wish her a happy Mother's Day, but decides not to call his older sister. They never talk about the child she gave away. Ever. (Reply to this)

	Leo made the trip to Connecticut to visit his mom for a family dinner and pick up a couple of Hostas for her that she could plant in her gardens. It was a bit of a drive but well worth the time to do it. (Reply to this)

Julian received word that his mother's present was delivered just the other day. As he picked up to the phone to dial her number, there was faint touch at the back of his mind, one of genuine approval.

Your present was exquisite, my son. Especially the last one. She struggled so as I devoured her.

"I'm glad you enjoyed them. Happy Mother's Day, Mother." Julian says.

Thank you, my darling.

The touch fades almost immediately after, but Julian smiles, adjusts his coat and heads to his next meeting.

He'll have to find a way to top himself next year.

	With the amount of work his mom did helping people every day Harry and his dad forced her to take the day off and have some personal time while they took care of things for her. While she might not be very happy about it at first they knew she needed it and would thank them for forcing her to take the day off. (Reply to this)

Melissa heads out to the cemetery early in the day while Kelly and Wade sleep, wanting to make this trip alone. When she finds Whitney Frost's headstone, she brushes away some of the recent dirt and lays the flowers down at the foot of the grave.

Then she sets down a blanket and is silent for a long moment.

"Hi, Mama. Happy Mother's Day. I'm sorry I haven't come by more, but this have been really crazy. I...met someone. A girl. I think you'd really like her. Her name is Kelly..." Melissa says, spending the next two hours to tell her mother all about her girlfriend and all the new events in her life.

	Adrian's mother passed away years ago, so Mother's Day is just another day for him. Still, he calls his Aunt Angela and wishes her a happy mother's day, along with his younger cousin. Calling Aurora about Mother's Day will probably get him shot, so he decides against it and gets back to work. (Reply to this)

Cassidy Summers spends Mother's Day with Doctor Milbury, who proceeds to go over, in great detail, how much his mother hated him and how much she asked for to sell him into the Doctor's care.

Cassidy listens to all of the information stoically, knowing that Milbury is hoping for some kind of emotional response, but he won't give it to him. Not now, or ever.

Doctor Milbury ends the story for now, and sends Cassidy off to study, promising him that they'll continue this talk on Father's Day.

	Irina played taxi for the Champions that wanted to be elsewhere and then went to visit her mother and grandfather even though it wasn't Mother's Day in Russia. It's was Victory Day and still reason to celebrate. (Reply to this)
