Father's Day meant exactly one thing to Leech: getting Art through it. The late Dr. Maddicks and what he did ostensibly for his son only haunted their lives occasionally, but this was one of those days.

This was the greatest Father's Day ever, in Kristoff's opinion. He had a legitimate claim upon Scotty, there was a baby on the way, and they all went out with Lang as a family.

The Hrimharisdottirs put in a call to their step-grandfather and otherwise spent the day outside, Moira mostly as close alongside Lucas as was convenient for his prayers.

Celebration of Father Sky is fine in groups, and none of it is particularly hurried. Moira is welcomed all day - and eventually he makes dinner, adding the scent of fruit glazed chicken and fresh baked cookies to the incense when he brings the food back outside for an evening picnic.

Breakfast with Dad on Father's Day was a standing date every year. Even if she wasn't standing quite so well while she recuperated from surgery and a battered ego.

Memories of her parents were sketchy at best, but Jenny called her brother Rob and made a date for lunch. He was the only father figure she really had and she made a point of letting him know she appreciated everything he'd done for her.

Its a tradition by now. Alecks and his dad were on assignments half a world from each other, so he spends a couple hours in teleconference, playing chess, drinking tea, and talking psychology and philosophy with his dad.

It's a bit far off yet, but Mason has managed to work a little bit of hero-cred to hook his father up with season tickets to the next Leafs' season. No box seats for the Jeffries' men however. They sit right in the thick of things.
