Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
List one of your characters, and one of mine, and pick either:

1)Friendship
2)Their first date.
3)Future.
4)Their first time.
5)AU/Possible children(please pick either or as I won't do both)

And I'll list 5 facts about any of them.

Rufus and Daniel Future

1. Eventually, the practical jokes stopped - somehow not as fun when the victim appreciates the effort going into it. On the other hand, Daniel turned out to be full of more social ways to misbehave - and cutting school to hit a soccer game turned out to work fine for both of them.
2. Their parents approved of double dating without much supervision a lot quicker than just dating, and the four of them usually managed to find some things all four of them could follow.
3. Rufus isn't the poker player Daniel is, but he did pick up enough to take Bobby for a higher allowance.
4. No one would have guessed it to see them at 12/13, but they were each other's best man.
5. The team centered around them and their girlfriends is still disputing whether they should have an 'X' or a '4' in their name, but it hardly really matters - they get the job done.

Jarrod/Ty Friendship

1. Similar to Ruth's presence, Jarrod's seemed to help lower the incidence of Ty's meltdowns - if it occasionally included other limits on his abilities, it was a worthwhile sacrifice. Ty was all for working with Jarrod when they ran across each other.
2. In addition to Ruth, Jay and Dr. Fate being about, Jarrod provided an interesting opportunity to study how this whole order-and-chaos thing went as a natural law, encouraging the occasional association outside of work.
3. Bailing each other out a couple times in the field probably didn't hurt associations any, and Jarrod even managed to coax Ty out of his lab here and there outside of missions, in part because Jarrod seemed to have pretty good insight into when things might be quiet for a while.
4. After that, they actually started to talk. Jarrod's precognition meshed well with Ty's processing power for providing first useful insight to each other - and then being able to better help their allies.
5. While not the best man, Jarrod was one of the groomsmen at Ty's wedding when he finally proposed - like Jarrod knew he would.

1. The relationship took a long time to develop, but once it did, the marriage came quickly. Somehow, both understanding the burdens of responsibility helped them bond once they opened up.
2. Ash was fairly pleased, all things considered, to semi-retire and devote herself to her quickly growing family.
3. Arthur, Jon Jr. and Caitlyn are the triplets, and somehow grandpa can't be too grumpy around a kid named in his honor. The three are outgoing and generally inseperable - though the boys have to constantly try to one up each other.
4. Marie is still a baby, but has to be watched constantly lest she go flying or try and visit the fish in the fishtank... again.
5. Somehow, the kids have managed to generally be pretty good, despite being spoiled ROTTEN by their grandparents and Auntie Jo.

1. After being injured, and removed from 'Exiles Road', Rose found herself in a strange world. Her arrival got Cube's attention, and they brought her back to Zero Hour to recover.
2. Tyson spent a lot of time talking to her at Zero Hour HQ. When she was better, they started practicing their martial arts against each other regularly.
3. A good word from the Storms got her into Alpha Academy, where she became a maze-seeker on the Power-Ball team, further cementing their relationship.
4. When things didn't work out with Tyson and Penny, despite good efforts, she was right there to console him. It eventually became more.
5. She's planning to join Zero Hour, right after she loses her pregnancy weight from having their first child in the fall, two years into their eventual marriage. She still misses Dani and her friends, but this is her home now.

1. The sochu hit both of them harder than expected. They may well have lost track of just how many rounds they'd had, but there was a lot to celebrate.
2. She didn't tell him for quite some time, once she found out she was pregnant.
3. As soon as the news got out, there was no end of trouble, and they got a lot closer for a while fighting supernatural evils trying to kidnap mother and unborn child, it seemed both of their enemies had similar goals.
4. Danielle Irina Rand was born with the kanji for 'Iron Fist' as a birthmark on her right hand. She's too young to see just what this means, but the mystical potential magically sensitive people get off her tiny right hand is off the charts.
5. Danielle has met her father only once, when he held her shortly after birth. Mephisto accepted Nick dragging the Steel Serpent, Master Khan and other enemies of K'un-L'un to hell, no matter how long it took, as a reasonable price for leaving mother and child alone forever.

1. Massive intellect, nigh perfect knowledge of human chemistry, biology and anatomy, built in tactical sense and body awareness - one would think it would be less awkward. And yet...
2. And somehow, the awkwardness made it that much more personal, as they explored together.
3. Al the more awkward, they had to stop half a dozen times to make sure he didn't manifest - that could have been bad in so many ways, and while they were linked, neither of them was precisely calm... and this wasn't something he could have anyone else anchor him during.
4. Eventually, with a lot of reassurance and patience, they managed - and then discovered the advantages to endless endurance and rapid recovery.
5. He blushed bright. "I know that took a while, love... but its alright." he said, slowing the seconds down to a ten-thousand-to-one crawl. "We have all the time in the world."

Buffy/Pippi Future. Because let's face it you can get enough crack.

1. Buffy convinced Pippi to come back to the Raiderettes through the devious, clever plan of getting her alone and saying "You should come shopping with us." Because Pippi necessitates clever plans like that.
2. Mitzi and Iris tracked them down to where the girls were robbing a beauty salon. While Pippi couldn't be made to understand the moral implications of her actions, eventually Mitzi was able to simplify it to "Mandy is breaking things, breaking things is bad." which got Pippi to decide which side she was on.
3. It was a tough decision for Buffy, after all, the Raiderettes had always been her friends, but when Pippi offered to do her hair if she'd help them, while Brandi and Mandy called her an idiot for hesitating, Buffy's path was clear. In a brief flash of Pippi-vision, she switched sides and joined gang-Pippi to defeat the Raiderettes, and testified against them, along with Mitzi. Pippi was declared unfit to testify.
4. Since they somehow couldn't just be Titans, since there was two teams, but the girls worked together somewhat often, Pippi ultimately decided the foursome should be called 'Kid Flash and the Feminine Four' - while they tried to point out that, yes, there were four of them, it should be Kid Flash and the Feminine Three... she decided that didn't sound good, so "It would be four if you counted Dinah."
Note: Dinah does not count herself with this group.
5. Buffy still doesn't necessarily get this whole heroic motivation thing, but she and Pippi go shopping regularly, she's part of a group who provides positive feedback, and they have coordinated outfits!

1. "Champion of who?"
"Champion of Artemis."
"Who?"
"Artemis."
"Never heard of her. Want to go to the zoo and look at meerkats?"
*sigh*

Ok, so it might have started slowly.
2. "You know, you're really pretty. Perfect bone structure, great cheekbones. I'd love to do something with your hair to show it off."

Lily was dubious... but maybe a little curious about these girl-bonding time rituals.
3. Ok, so the zoo might not have been the best place to go to show off some new clothes, a new hairstyle and a bit of makeup, but it worked. Lily not only turned heads, a couple guys actually ran into each other not looking where they were going in noticing her.
4. Ok, so Pippi was more or less useless at stealth in the attempts to patrol afterwards, with Lily finally giving her a chance to join her. And she needed a lot of effort to babysit to make sure she was watching for crime, and not stray kittens... but it was very well worth it when a drug deal gone bad resulted in 300 spent rounds of submachinegun fire... and somehow, not a single bullet hit any of the innocent bystanders at the edge of the alleyway or in the playground across the way. Lily didn't mind getting healed up a bit afterwards either, even if the wounds were superficial.
5. Mitzi still has to translate Pippi-speak sometimes, but the two of them are taking Mitzi horsebac riding next weekend, and Lily maybe doesn't mind taking the indigo cheerleader on patrol quite so much anymore.

1. "Hey, I know you! You remind me of someone!"
"Yeah, I... get that all the time. I'm not him."
"Huh?"
"I'm not..."
"I know you're not Francisco Lachowski, you don't strut right to be him."
"Fran... wait, who?"
"Some guy one of my mom's handlers has a crush on. He's gay."
"The... the guy I look like, or your mom's handler?"
"Sorry, Cain has a boyfriend, or I'd give him your number."
"But I'm not..."
"Ok, got to go, bye!"

2. The next time they ran into each other they were in costume. Granted, hers didn't really hide her identity. They managed, through great super-human agility and some luck to beat the goblin squad.
"Hey, you left so fast, I just wanted to tell you, I'm not..."
"Do I know you?"
*grumble* "No."
"Huh... ok. You kind of remind me of someone."

3. Similar methods of heroing, when Pippi went about heroing, led them to a few more team ups. Progress was largely not made - he was just newly familiar each time.

4. They were finally sort of introduced through May, who had known and worked with both of them here and there. Or at least Jack's civilian ID. He's still not quite sure who Francisco Lachowski is.

5. May has no idea what she did in a past life so bad as to be stuck with both of them so often. It had to be the Parker luck.

1. Ok, so breaking into Atlantis and stealing all of their alcohol caused some problems, but somehow Pippi never got into trouble over it. Given some of the other problems, Cait started keeping her around as an 'Arthur Shield' - Pippi headaches weren't as bad as family headaches.
2. It looked like the Atlanteans were losing the battle with the cultists led by the Fisherman. The castle was half-occupied, Arthur was down, and the others were being pressed... when even the enemy couldn't help but stop and stare at the sight of a single reinforcement arriving riding a pink dolphin, wearing a laser firing dingo helmet modified with scuba gear, and waving the chainsaw of compassion... she didn't actually defeat anyone - with her first attempted swing she overbalanced herself and discovered her puppy helmet caused her to sink (until a helpful giant octopus helped her back to the surface), but it bought Arthur and Cait time to recover and rally the troops.
3. While recovering from the battle in the same area, they somehow came upon plans for a Titans girls swimsuit calendar to benefit city and bay reconstruction, with Pippi picking out suits and doing hair. It was a huge success.
4. That led to Pippi picking out dresses, helping with decorations and doing hair for Cait's wedding.
5. No matter that she's a regular visitor to the zoo and aquarium, and visits Cait on a somewhat regular basis, Pippi remains convinced about the nature of penguins.

Kevin/Thor - Friendship (Can provide cbrs if necessary.)

1. Thor returned to Earth from the mission with Sif and Bill, and began looking for those he felt merited some trust in the heroic community. In the process, he discover Kevin has taken up the mace and triggered its enchantment.
2. He puts in a good word with Cap, and volunteers to help train Kevin to fight like an Asgardian.
3. Kevin's anger management issues and troubles cause him to fall short of expectations repeatedly - until Thor tells him the tale of his own banishment, noting that Kevin reminds him a good deal of himself at a younger age.
4. #3 leads to Kevin blowing up at Thor for taking his father from him and getting Eric caught up in Asgardian business - at which point Thor refuses to apologize, stating instead that Eric had his chances to back out, and realized instead that Earth needed protectors - and was part of the nine worlds as well. He may have died, but Kevin should always remember he lived and died as a hero.
5. Thor entrusts Kevin with helping keep an eye on some of the younger heroes and kids with ties to the Avengers, to make sure that events like Civil War never occur again.
