1. Pippi continued to insist that she doesn't date, but made a semi-exception for an animal charity auction. Besides, he dresses fancy. 2. The date quickly turned from date to business meeting when they both discovered a mutual love of making an appearance, and she had all manner of suggestions for costuming, showgirl outfits and stage dressings. 3. Because he's Zach, he tried to get it 'back on track', she was admtitedly quite fascinated by the magic tricks, but things took a weird turn when he couldn't find a way to convince her the rabbit didn't really live in the hat - which she felt was a totally unsuitable place for a rabbit to live. 4. She defused a potentially hostile situation with a well-knownshowgirl who had gotten billing below Zach when Pippi asked about her hair and dress, and the two talked for an hour. 5. Zach went home with the showgirl. Pippi went home with the rabbit. (Reply to this)(Parent)

1. Punk fashion wasn't normally his thing, but there were ties between the x-ers and the alpha flighters, and he wanted to make sure her first public show went well. 2. Atypical for her style of show, but typical of the fashion world he knew, along with making a high bid on something he decided he wouldn't mind giving to the right kind of date sometime, he had flowers sent to her backstage. 3. An invitation backstage turned into an invite for dinner and drinks. A lot more interested in the engaging x-girl, he introduced his current date to someone more her style, and took Chris out to celebrate a successful show. 4. It didn't really take much to drink for the two of them to end up back at her place. 5. He paid to replace the numerous things they ended up breaking. She didn't mind. (Reply to this)(Parent)

1. The two of them met through Julian. 2. Though he kept a professional distance, out of appreciation for Julian, and learning of her abilities, he occasionally was willing to feed her addiction with a power source that gave a high level kick, due to its potential being based only on the level of charge - but was almost entirely safe without a high level of electromagnetic energy present. 3. Under supervision, she's been able to visit Genosha a few times on Julian's arm. Obviously it has given her quite the opportunity, even under escort, to sample new tastes. 4. Though not linking too closely, they do have some common business ventures, and occasionally provide professional advice for each other, sharing some interests and social circles. 5. He has taken actively endorsing the second generation of the X-Factor show under advisement, but hasn't decided fully yet. (Reply to this)(Parent)

1. The relationship was never going to last, but neither was entirely opposed to giving in to natural urges under the right circumstances - and the parental relationship has remained excellent, with the kid splitting time until she's old enough to decide who they want to live with. 2. Tora's favorite toy is 'make up', whenever she can get her hands on it - though she hasn't decided yet whether she'd rather use it for glamor dress up or ceremonial paints. 3. Regardless which game she's playing, make up or whatever she can paint with usually ends up all over the walls, in the carpet, and in places a preschooler shouldn't be able to reach. They don't know how she does it. 4. Tora is also an escape artist, including from her clothes. Wearing nothing more than a feather headdress, she has streaked through some of the most supposedly secure locations on Earth. 5. Her favorite animal is the Playboy bunny. Mom is too amused to explain why that might be inappropriate yet. (Reply to this)(Parent)

1. Somehow, they ended up fighting back to back against the hordes. 2. Near the end of battle, her leg gave out, and he stood over her until nothing was left standing... then collapsed beside her when he went into the post-rage exhaustion. 3. They lay beside each other, bloody and mostly naked, for they don't know how many hours, before he finally got up the energy to carry her home. 4. Somewhere in the process, the mix of battle camaraderie, and the laying together that long had ended up comfortable enough that, instead of going their own ways, he just lay down with her in more settled surroundings. 5. Once they'd both eaten and rested, they did a whole lot more laying together - but it was a lot less restful. (Reply to this)(Parent)

1. He would eventually admit to "cheating", his father's superhuman combat sense and some actual training with a sword, just in case, letting him beat her in the final match in P.E. fencing - and she didn't really mind, finally finding someone in this time who could keep up with her in familiar skills. 2. Just to even things out, he dropped his father's powers and she defeated him, but it was still an entertaining match. 3. He explained Power-Ball to her as a modern competitibe art, which didn't interest her much until he explained the part about exploring through the maze. 4. While she didn't have any of the traditional powers that would make her an obvious defensive forward, her sneakiness, skill at navigating, ability to fly in hawk form, and people underestimating her made her a good forward scout for the Power-Ball team in the maze. 5. Somehow, she's actually managed to convince Penny that despite being on the team and all, she's not a threat to her boyfriend... she just had to disarm the first dozen electrical locker traps first before she got the idea across. 1. The date was set up by mutual friends who decided both really needed to get out more. 2. The start of things was very polite, but slow, with a fair amount of awkwardness at being on an actual technical date. 3. When the topic turned to family expectations and responsibilities, they found they had a lot to talk about and opened up. 4. By the end of the evening, Ash had found her voice and a great deal of trust in Jon. 5. While they figured they probably weren't god dating material, both had found a friend. (Reply to this)(Parent)

1. There shouldn't have been any reason for Blackheart and Neron to be working together, but that alliance at least briefly brought the worlds together. 2. Thankfully, some things remained true, such as the Rider's ability to track down sufficient evils, a fact Neron's people weren't entirely aware of, leading to a fortuitous alliance... which lasted longer than the alliance of demons, who didn't trust each other already, so sowing distrust further helped win the day. 3. Somehow, they also came to an agreement that good beer was needed after defeating major otherworldly evils. 4. In addition to beer, there was a lot of discussion about being manipulated by the aims of otherworldly powers. 5. Both went home, but always know they have an ally on the other side, should worlds collide again. (Reply to this)(Parent)

1. Halbjorn made another attempt to introduce Griffen to some lovely young women of his acquaintance. To everyone's surprise, this time Griffen, who'd been having no luck on his own, accepted. 2. Discovering this perceived weak link into the Defenders, Alfrun killed Griffen's date and took her place. Her plots were eventually foiled, but led to Griffen's death. 3. Blaming himself, Halbjorn followed the ancient tales, and requested Odin bond the two of them to let Griffen live again. 4. More able to navigate mortal society in his "secret identity" Griffen/Halbjorn became a more active super hero, mild-mannered computer nerd able to get into places and learn things a 7' barbarian couldn't, then able to transform into the God of Rage to deal with the situation. 5. The two were eventually separated again, with Griffen given a new lease on life and a godly perspective. As far as anyone can tell, Halbjorn didn't learn anything. (Reply to this)(Parent)

1. Eliza's time with Big Hero 6 was tumultuous, and some relationships took a long time, but when Kikuya decided to remain the Super-Geisha, and thus remain unmarried, Kikuya decided Eliza would make an acceptable wife and mother for Hajime. 2. Kazuhiro Amiko is a total daddy's girl - and is trying to get started as fast as possible on acheiving the deeds a samurai should be able to do, in kidnergarten, she can 1. fingerpaint 2. feed and clean up after her own canary 3. ask mommy relentlessly for a pony so she can learn to ride 4. is learning how to write letters to grandma and grandpa 5. fire a nerf bow 6. hit her siblings with nerf swords 7. Address adults properly and be respectful in public, even when her little brother is around. 8. She's working really, really hard on learning to serve tea, and practices with her stuffed animals all the time. 2. Kazuhiro Matthew is four. He sort of has an idea who grandpa is and wants to be just like him... sort of. This mostly consists of using a brightly colored blanket like a cape, and leaping out of closets at people declaring "I'm Batman!" then running away. 3. In very old fashioned Japanese fashion, when Kikuya became pregnant with Kazuhiro Kumiko, she quietly disappeared for a few months. While she certainly helps care for her daughter, to the outside world, Kumiko is also Eliza's daughter. 4. Kumiko is trying to introduce her older sister Amiko to the joys of make up (usually making a big mess in the process.) Amiko-chan is dubious. 5. Amiko, in her first trip to America, joined Team Awesome with another kid her age. Teenage team leaders Zoey and Scotty cannot figure out for the life of them how two 6 year olds could cause so much trouble. (Reply to this)(Parent)

1. Asgard and Atlantis, any Atlantis, may be uneasy allies at times, but allies they are. When Atlantis sent for help, the Stone Bear of Asgard answered, even if the portal seemed odd. 2. The great monster drew his attention immediately, and it was a glorious fight. Even so, the calls to "Defend the Princess!" caught his attention, even in the midst of a pitched battle and midst of a rage. 3. Despite that rage, and recognizing no other as friend, no one touched her, and the bear-sark recognized a blonde of regal bearing as one under his protection. 4. When the rage ended, she helped tend to him personally until he recovered. 5. Though he was recalled to Asgard through the Odinpower, he swore if she and her realm faced such a threat again, he would try to find his way to reach her if she could find a way to call him. 1. The first meetings were relatively neutral. After some of the things that had happened in the past, Michael wasn't especially interested in being studied, and he'd seen some of Ty's work on other matters, so he kept his distance... and Ty is not the most outgoing of people. It wasn't dislike so much as general disinterest. 2. The disinterest ended the first time when Ty grew to 50' tall and began emitting high radiation and flooding local waterways with toxins when disaster struck and he manifested Chemo. Michael was one of the few able to get close enough to help minimize the damage. Things returned more or less to normal thereafter, but Michael, for a while, took Ty as dangerous - and didn't get a lot of disagreement from Ty. 3. Ty had a chance to return the favor after Pippi was able to emergency heal the matrix, but Ty was able to help with the long term stabilization and research. 4. With no obvious way to stabilize Ty's abilities long term, Michael started working with him on finer control over elemental and transmutation powers for easier use in the field. 5. The two of them have never become friends, precisely, with their recreational interests being somewhat far apart, but they are willing co-workers and associates who correspond regularly, over both Ty's attempts at greater control of his powers, even minimal, and understanding the full nature of the Firestorm matrix and its long term stability. 1. Sheer coincidence brought them together. Rose had managed to piece together enough to lead her to the force behind an army of mystic ninjas - Master Khan, whom she had thought long dead. The sorceror "god" of K'un-L'un revealed he had brought her to a place of dark energy where the iron fist and her chi would not work, and revealed he intended to sacrifice her for revenge on her father. 2. Hajime was trailing his father's killer, and while it was not Khan, the faint trail led him to the sorceror as an associate. When Khan's power was not enough to defeat the 7 century old kensai, he went to his last resort and banished him, while wiping his memory, as he had done to Namor before, out into the snows of the himalayas. In the process, he accidentally banished Rose as well. 3. Hajime, though injured from the fight, picked Rose up and carried her through the mountains, before collapsing in a cave of blood loss and exhaustion. Rose nursed him back to health and healed him through chi healing over a period of weeks, though his memory remained unclear. 4. Over the weeks, they grew quite close, and then became lovers when he was able. 5. Eventually, his memory returned, and with it, his devotion to another. The two went on to work together to banish Master Khan, and remained close friends thereafter, promising to aid one another where they could. (Reply to this)(Parent)

1. Initial meetings were somewhat confusing on both sides, coming from very different backgrounds, but Andrew was always happy to meet anyone else with the name Summers. 2. Likewise, the meeting only lasted a limited time, as Andrew welcomed the hospitality of Xavier's, but "having come from behind Magneto's shield, he didn't wish to hide in Xavier's shadow either.", but he did offer bus fare any time. 3. Cassidy took him up on that, eventually. While Andrew spoke in his typical terms, it also eventually came down not so much to trying to convince anyone of anything as, simply, "I disagree with both Magneto and Xavier in degrees. But the only thing I'd ask you to leave with is that the most important right of any of us is the ability for all to express their views, and others to believe or reject it." 4. Ultimately, the idea of "choice" as king is what caught Cassidy's attention, and convinced him that he wasn't quite sure of the Genosha mission yet, but he wanted to hear more. 5. While he's still uncertain where he will finally stand, Cassidy started working a lot more with Andrew, Giovanna, Senyaka and Angelo to help protect the Genoshan mission to openly promote mutant rights worldwide for the time being, while Andrew helps procure more educational resources and tutoring for Cassidy. 1. Bethany Worthington was probably just as much Jose Cuervo's fault as Nick's, but has never been made to feel unwelcome in the family or in general. 2. Irina is her godmother, and has helped look after her from day 1. 3. Bethany is by far the fastest kid in the neighborhood on her bike, having moved up to it from a tricycle very early, and is begging her mother and godmother constantly to let her take the training wheels off. 4. She's showing the first signs of growing wings, with a few stubs of jet black feathers showing up. 5. Nick decided to do the right thing - his daughter has never met the Rider and never will. He's never been heard from again. But Mephisto hasn't come anywhere near the child or her mother either. (Reply to this)(Parent)

1. these things can only begin one way - gratuitous hero battle. They both thought they were defending the schoolchildren. 2. Gratuitous hero battles are contractually required to become gratuitous crossover team-ups. In this case, Grogg's presence in L.A. somehow awakened Trogglo, the Smog Monster! The resulting fight collapsed three city blocks, but Trogglo was defeated. 3. Introducing Grogg to enchanted mead might not have been the best idea, but it turned out he really loved drunken karaoke. 4. Halbjorn helped Grogg land a part in his next movie, saving the special effects budget a ton. 5. Grogg now knows exactly who to call when sales demand another crossover Godzilla goes on another rampage. (Reply to this)(Parent)

1. He'd have hit on her as well, but the link with his sister was unusual enough that, even after it ended, he gave her some space - so Dawn surprised everyone, herself especially, by asking him out first. 2. She blames the drinks, but whatever it was, she found herself more comfortable than usual expressing herself, after a while. 3. He typically didn't grasp the human perspective, she usually didn't get the Asgardian one, but agreeing to respect different viewpoints was easy, especially while they were having fun. 4. Also surprising her, when things began to get heavier, perhaps the drinks, unquestionably some attraction, he did pause things to acknowledge, as she well knew, it would never become more than physical (though that was always available). After that, the only thing known is no one saw either til the next morning. They may have slept together, they may have spent the night watching stars. Neither is talking. 5. 1. She still blushed dark purple, but eventually caught herself - and decided "Away from home, it'll be an adventure either way... let's see what happens." that first day. No one else saw them the rest of the day... and sparingly the rest of the week. 2. Neither of them were very used to this relationship thing, but it seemed to be working - and as visible as she was at his side, and out and about, she gained confidence in leaps and bounds, as each new leap was rewarded with positive reinforcement. 3. Without as much cause to learn to communicate, when things fell apart in Atlantis, somehow, the relay to Jordan just before he went to save his brother was "he's dead" 4. Jordan's breakdown came then, and resulted in him and Namor, possibly with "help" from the council, killing each other. Mason was executed and the princess imprisoned for treason for trying to defend the "evil surface dwellers" Only Alex and Mel escaped. 5. The pair re-formed Alpha Flight, and the eventual couple co-leads the All new Alpha Flight, though they now count Atlantis among their enemies. (Reply to this)(Parent)

1. The first, first time was in her bed, two veterans feeling each other out. And some things are just classic. 2. They moved on to the condiments for the second first time. Chocolate, champagne, strawberries and ice cubes in varying roles. 3. The third first time involved candles and a long, slow bath for two. 4. The fourth first time followed a long conversation, held naked, with her head on his chest, getting to know one another better in less physical ways before going back for slower, more sensuous sex. 5. His inability to actually literally sleep with her led to some study as for whether a second, flexible person might be able to fit in his radiation-draining chamber. (Reply to this)(Parent)

1. Discussion between a couple well-travelled heroes over what started as an upscale dinner turned into an epic quest. 2. He insisted on only the best for his date, when she was trying to compare East and West coast Chinese food, and various vodkas... and so they had to try them and compare first hand. 3. The road trip involved 19 states, 23 restaurants, 29 bars, watching the sun rise and set in every time zone and 4 speeding tickets. 4. The only thing they decided conclusively was that fast cars were excellent things. 5. They shared a few hotel rooms, but neither is saying if anything happened there or not. Bonus: It involved another 2 speeding tickets, but Aleks got back to work just in time. (Reply to this)(Parent)

1. It wasn't easy for Grace to accept that Halbjorn would just not make a good father, even if he was willing to try. The idea of a child growing up not knowing their father for what he was was especially hard on her for obvious reasons. She refused to accept it, whatever anyone said. 2. Needing to keep them on Earth, as Halbjorn would not marry her, though he professed loving her as much as he could love any, the twin prince and princess came under threats numerous times. 3. It took Grace seeing Halbjorn going full-out berserk right in front of her in defense of her and the babies - and the moment where she realized he did not recognize her, nor them. 4. Brokenhearted, but still a heroine deep down, Grace did what had to be done and married Aridis so the children could be acknowledged as royals of Asgard, and became a princess herself by marriage. 5. Now three, Grace and Aridis are doting parents for a strapping little blonde boy and a strawberry blonde who looks a lot like her mother otherwise. She's regularly thankful neither shows any sign of the Bear-sark's curse, at least as of yet. (Reply to this)(Parent)

1. Peter is the biggest kid in third grade - and nobody better pick on his younger siblings, or else! 2. Benjamin, who insists on being called Benji, is the first to start showing powers. In first grade, he mostly used his terrakinetic abilities to lob mud pies at his sister. 3. The only girl, Alexandra, is the middle child. She is absolutely determined that she's going to be the first girl to play for the Mighty Ducks, and is the best player on her 2nd grade hockey team. 4. The kids all know that they have their Grandpas wrapped around their fingers. 5. They are quietly conspiring with a couple of older kids to form 'Team Awesomer' (Reply to this)(Parent)

1. While they've worked together before, but their friendship is really cemented when they do what the previous generation never could, and erase the boundaries, and trust one another, even when the other isn't watching. 2. Team Terry successfully proves Lex Luthor's involvement with international terrorism, operating in their own fashion, and leave Metropolis' big name villains not sure anymore who is watching. 3. Jon single-handedly stops the Jokerz, all of them, and sends a message both of hope and order to Gotham, not simply fear. The Arctic Lounge and Club Olympus are shut down when people come forward to testify. 4. When the son of Magog disintegrates the Joker, following yet another return to Arkham, there is no divisiveness. Batman and Superman stand together to stem the tide of chaos and set an example for those who would come after. 5. When the time comes for Terry to retire from active crime-fighting, he takes Jon and Corrinna's son, his godson, as his apprentice, training the child of the "gods" in the techniques of the Bat. 1. Following Mother's Day, Pippi makes more efforts to try and help Mitzi get settled in. Sometimes its misguided, or done through Pippi-vision, but at least its always sincere. 2. Pippi goes to beauty school, and informs Mitzi she can have the rest of Pippi's college fund, since she's not going to use it. Pippi convinces her mom's handlers to ok it. 3. Pippi aces the functional parts of beauty school, but repeatedly struggles with the written - Mitzi is the one who convinces her to stick it out. 4. Mitzi struggles in college. Pippi is the first one there to encourage her, even if she's not much help. 5. At the celebration for being the first Peppers to graduate higher than junior high, Pippi asks Mitzi if she'd become her handler, and manage the Peppers' trust, for room, board and a paycheck guaranteed, since Mitzi is the only one who has stuck with her since the beginning, and might not be as smart as Dinah, or as quick-thinking as Iris, or as put-together as Ruth, but she's the one Pippi trusts most to do the right thing when things are hard, and to look out for Pippi when she's having what Patricia's handlers just call "Peppers moments." 1. A new girl just joined the Power-Ball team. She goes by PJ, but her full name would be Penelope. Penny is already occasionally the jealous type, and not the most sociable. Things continue as "normal" for the couple for a while, but Tyson, as team captain, spends a fair amount of time around the team... plus Jun-Li and Makiana, his friends from early in school. Penny is not pleased with these other girls in her boyfriend's life things. 2. Three factors compound problems: 1. Zero Hour runs into a couple major crises, people are injured, the trainee team gets pulled into action a couple times. This cuts into practice time. 2. When it was just conflicting with training, the punk band and social outlyer girlfriend thing was ok, but with Tyson having to divide school, Power-Ball (because its the one leisure activity his parents are ok with), and heroing, his parents and Zero Hour PR people quietly express some displeasure with the situation. 3. Those icky 'other girls' things still live. 3. After an argument that makes no sense whatsoever to anyone else, they break up. Tyson is frustrated and confused, Penny is just... angry Penny. 4. Tyson attends a number of team functions in the wake of the disasters. For appearances, he has icky "other girl creatures" on his arm. Penny builds a giant robot to hunt down her cheating ex-boyfriend, in a series of logical jumps that make sense in Penny-world, and determine who he's 'with' in his down time. The giant robot is hijacked by someone, and attempts to kill him. Before Tyson destroys it after a huge running battle, it manages to send one image back to Penny - of Tyson, alone in his room, quietly playing one of the songs she wrote. 5. They still don't make sense to anyone half the time, but they get back together, relationship stronger than ever before. He professes his love for her, she professes a commitment not to send more giant killer robots after him. (Reply to this)(Parent)
