Out With the Old and In With the New
The beginning of a New Year, a time for new hopes, new experiences to come. A time to reflect on times past, remembering fond memories happily and trying to put less pleasant thoughts and experiences in the past.

It is a time of renewal, a time of rebirth. And for much of the world, it is a time of celebration. This is no less true for the super hero set as anyone else. If anything, they just have that much bigger of things to look forward to.

Anya invited the TBolts down to New York for New Year's. Her team needed to interact with others on occasion and New Year's was a good time for it. The TBolts had at least met the girls during Rate the Hunk, so some faces would be familiar and there was a chance to get to meet some of the guys they were rating.

She was dressed in casual clothes. Her favorite sweater, jeans and her favorite pair of boots. She spent most of the night near Steve's side because it had been a long four months.

	Excalibur, those who stayed in London, got to start celebrating five hours before the people in the States. Quinn had set up chairs on the roof, made hot chocolate for the girls, brought beer for the guys and made popcorn for watching fireworks on the roof of their headquarters. Thankfully they were closet to the Thames and would have a great view. (Reply to this)

With all the celebrations going on, there's a dark side to the holiday. Criminals of all sorts seek to take advantage of the mood and the frequent drunkenness of many of the people out tonight.

Much as he'd love to go out, party himself, and get very drunk to forget, Nicholas feels the call to be out tonight. He'll see in the New Year without paying it a moment's heed, hunting the wicked.

He can get drunk tomorrow.

	Greyson was in the corner of the room not particularly feeling very comfortable in the middle of the Avenger’s mansion. He really had to fight the urge to leave but also though it would be rude to do so. He hadn’t really brought up the topic of who his dad was yet and was kind of hoping to avoid it for now. 	It was closing in on midnight in England at the Excal New Year’s Eve party. It had been a blast so far. Casey was of course of a grand time.
