Home in Louisiana once agan
After their trip to the prison, Jason was happy that he and Sammy were pulling up to Gran's place to spend some time. He loved his old home, but damn if he didn't love it more because Sammy was with him. Gran met them out on the back porch and smiled, looking spry for a woman who'd had a heart a attack just a year ago.

"Hi, Gran! I brought your favorite secret agent to see you again." Jason grins, going to get their bags.

"I see that, Jason. Be a dear and handle the luggage while I work on getting this poor girl fed. Sammy, you look like skin and bones." Gran frets.

Jason tries not to laugh, giving Sammy an "I-told-you-so" look.

	"It's a lot of work keeping my team tech specialist in line," Sammy said to his grandmother. Nobody watching Sammy eat would ever accuse her of being a picky eater, but Evelyn Landon came close to making her feel like she was starving. 	"He's a cutie," Sammy agreed. "Already has his fist pair of SHIELD footie pajamas." She looked around from the porch to see what Jason was up to with the luggage. She hadn't packed much. Jason is standing outside, simply taking in the sights of his childhood home. The bags are out and on the ground while Jason just relaxes.

Eventually, he lifts the bags and begins carrying them inside the house.

"Gran, you /have/ to come to New York. It's wonderful there." Jason agrees.

"If you two don't mind a road trip, I would love to." Evelyn says.

"Unfortunately, I'm not big on airplanes." she says.

	The house was just like she remembered it. Clean, comfortable and lived in. Something was cooking. Something delicious. Sammy could smell it. "How do you feel about a flying car?" she asked. 	The boot in the ribs did the job. Sammy's eyes opened and fastened onto the man in the room. Her gaze was far sharper than her wits, still disoriented from the electrical shock. She blinked and took a deep, slow breath while she took stock of her situation and waited for the rest of her body to check in. "Where's Jason?" were the first words out of her mouth. 	Sammy attempted to sit up. The effects of the shock were wearing off quickly now that she was focused on something else. "We're on vacation in this backwater, and I don't recall inviting you to gate crash, whoever you are. But by all means keep talking if you're that eager to be noticed by all the wrong people."
