The Darkheart

(Timebendyed so anyone can be involved)

Jerry had heard that there was suppose to be an amazing meteor shower tonight and the best place to see it was in the Arches National Park in Utah. He had let dad knew he was going to spend the night there which his dad was totally fine with.

After teleporting in with some basic supplies he started looking for a good place to watch it from. Teleporting around the park he saw a mesa that looked like he could get a great view from. He snapped his fingers and appeared in a flash of green at the top of the mesa.

What he saw up there was something that he Jerry Carr had trouble believing. There was a organic looking machine with little robotic drones eating the rocks. And one charged right at him.

Quickly snapping both hands he teleported away and teleported a boulder right on top of the drone crushing it. Jerry let out a sigh of relief until he noticed that the drones were now eating the boulder and forming even more drones.

This was bad and Jerry knew he could not handle this by himself and felt that it would be smart to call in as much help as he could.

Teleporting back to his stuff away from the mesa he grabbed his cell phone and started calling all of the people he knew who were superheroes to get as much help as he could.

Power Boy flew in next to the Eagle and surveyed the land. He stayed in the air and pretty much copied what Jon was doing, except for a different reason. "Man... I'm going to kick so much butt."

	Warhawk shows up, an extra mace and axe attached to his belt along with a few knives and a sword across his back. He rarely goes to a fight without being armed. He flies up alongside Superboy to listen to the report on who and what they're dealing with. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Cait arrived with the Titans. At least she didn't have to fly to get here. She thanked Poseidon for teleporters. Ugh. The desert. The air was dry and no moisture in it. This was not good. Thankfully she had a small canteen of water at her waist. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Nic kept pace with her brother and Aleea. She was armed, her mother's mace in her hand, her armor on, a solid resolve in her jawline that few people had ever seen before. With most of the people there Jerry started explaining the situation in as much detail as he could. He was still amazed at how many people could come to help; his dad was right about that whole six degrees thing.

Normally he wouldn’t have raised an alarm like this but the situation was pretty bad since those things were growing at an exponential rate and the Mesa was already visibly smaller. Now that he had explained things he was going to leave it to the people who usually dealt with this type of thing to come up with a plan of attack.

	Impulse had arrived on the scene with Kid Flash. Just as Jerry began to explain, she zipped over to where the robots were. "Uh...guys?" She wasn't even gone for two seconds. Though he'd heard through the JLA comms what was going on, Batman wasn't part of the assembled group. The Batplane through overhead, straight towards the robots.

"Why you figure out what to do, I'm going in," his voice came in over the comms. "Let me know when you finish with your little pow-wow."

Get in, take down as many robots as he could, make sure no civilians were harmed. That was all Batman needed to know.

Hope gripped her Mega Rod. "These robots," she asked, "Do we know if they are sentiant beings or not?"

If they were somehow "alive" she was going to do everything in her power to permently putting them out of commission (as some would most likely not approve of her outright killing things that were technically living).

But if they were just robots? Hope was going to have a FIELD DAY.

	Lian stood at the front of the Outsiders, listening to everything that was going on. "I have an idea," she turned to Calypso, "Terra- can you make a trench around the area?"
