Christmas song
What's your favorite Christmas song? Who does the best version?

What's your least favorite?

Elvis. "Blue Christmas" and "White Christmas" all the way.

Least favorite - I don't know.

Most and least favorite is the same.

Dad used to listen to 'I'll Be Home for Christmas' every year. It became sort of a favorite for a lot of the soldiers in the 40's, and obviously had a lot of meaning to them. It became my favorite.

Now... yeah, its taken on whole new meaning for me too.

Not a big fan of Christmas music. This time of year, the demon goes into overdrive - under the tinsel and lights, there's too many people trying to take advantage, too much sin.

There's just something wrong about condemning men's souls while 'Frosty the Snowman' plays in the background.

My favorite is Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Olive is really mean, though.

I don't have a least favorite. Christmas is awesome!

I just can't bring myself to listen to Christmas music this year though.

That's really good, but it's hard to resist the classics. Adeste Fidelis, for me.

I'd need to listen to more of it. I like a lot of what I've heard, but this is my first Christmas, so its all kind of new.

I'll be a touch narcissistic here and say that I really liked the punk-rock/speed-metal mash up we did at the concert last ear of Carol of the Bells.

The Atheist Christmas Carol is growing on me though.

Aw, don't make choose! There's Kirsty MacColl and the Pogues's "Fairytale of New York," and there's Carol of the Bells, and I'm a sucker for little Olivia Olson doing "All I Want for Christmas."

Least favorite? "Here Comes Santa Claus." Seriously?

Favorite:
"All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth" by the Chipmunks because there was a Christmas where I didn't have two of my front teeth.

"Christmas Don't Be Late" by the Chipmunks.

"Christmas At Ground Zero" by Weird Al.

"The Night Santa Went Crazy" by Weird Al.

"Snoopy's Christmas" by the Royal Guardsmen

"White Christmas" by Elvis.

Least:
"The Christmas Song" by Nat King Cole.

I'm strongly considering investing in a little theater group or something so I can make them stage a Christmas pageant version of 'The Night Santa Went Crazy' every year.

Least favorite? Anything sung off key by those squeaky little cutsie electronic Christmas toys. I shot up mall because of two dozen dancing christmas trees squeaking and whining out Jingle Bell Rock, seriously.

I love so many Christmas songs! "Ding Dong Merrily On High" might be my favorite.

Least favorite?
Well, the Coventry Carol is awfully depressing, but I suppose one has to recognize that horrible things do happen amongst good things.... As another possibility... It's a pretty song, but has anyone considered the implications of "Baby, It's Cold Outside?" The whole 'founding one's first time on a pretense' thing is just a bad sign.

It's tripe, is what it is. If the Fictive 'I' of the song were a person, he'd need a good shoving. You don't stand around congratulating yourself for a job that poorly done. You want to do something about fixing things for that family, you follow that kid home, see if you can contact emergency care for the poor woman, do it properly instead of a sloppy half-job.
