Okay, so for those of you who are second (or third or whatever) generation in the super-biz, how old were you when you found out about your parents being super-types?   You can talk about how too, if you want.

I think I was... young.  Nine, ten or so.  Probably younger than I should have known.  But my parents, along with Ri's, figured we'd end up rummaging and finding some bit of evidence anyway, so they sat down and told us.  It kinda explained things like "Uncle Guy" or our friendship with the Reyes a lot better.

Four. Daddy had to explain to me why I could NOT marry the Flash.

I always knew Uncle Ryan was a hero. He didn't hide it all that well.

Well, let's see, I got the talk when I was young. About a week old. They introduced me to my parent, and I said "Nice to meet you, test tubes... which of you is mommy and which is daddy? My parents did not say much, but then the trainers explained that they were just normal test tubes, but those tubes were all full of super-juice... kind of like Sersi on the weekend.

A couple weeks later one of the interns dropped mommy and broke her into pieces. I cried.

Eighteen. Mom didn't have any idea who she really was until then.

I was fifteen, almost sixteen when I found out. Its weird to think about, because there were so many hints, things my Mom and Dad would talk about.

But I didn't know until Uncle Billy offered me the powers. And even then i still didn't believe it until Mom and Dad took form right in front of me when I told them.

I was... three or so when my parents explained the super hero thing the first time. No reason to hide it really, in a civilization basically of nothing but super heroes and retired villains.

My parents do not believe in hiding mutation, and they were always honest with me about their jobs and their 'criminal record' in other countries.

Did you have a hard time understanding that other people's parents weren't superheroes? Mother had difficulty explaining humans at first.

That is... a really strange question. I'm second generation, but it depends, for me, on which time. I remember times they waited til I was older, times I was kidnapped by a supervillain at five or six, times they had died and Wally told me...

Not sure I'm applicable, as my parents were super villains and I'm not... but mom tried to shield me from most of that until my abilities really started coming out, about 11.

Not until I was eighteen and met my father for myself. My mother--and several of those watching over me--thought it best I did not know until I was ready to handle such information.

This in spite of being able to witness mystical phenomena such as Boston from at least four years old.
