When Out On the Lawn There Arose Such a Clatter
Christmas. Yule. Saturnalia. Dies Natalis Solis Invicti. Many cultures have celebrated and still celebrate a winter festival. There have been many names for it over the millennia. No matter the name it is a time to come together and celebrate with feasts and gifts with friends and loved ones.

Each culture has a legendary figure who would deliver gifts to children during this time. In Russia and some Slavic cultures he is known as Ded Moroz, Grandfather Frost, and comes not on Christmas but on New Year’s along with his granddaughter Snegurochka, or ‘”Snow Maiden”. In the United Kingdom and other parts of Europe he is known as Father Christmas. In the Netherlands and Belgium he is known as Saint Nicholas or “Sinterklaas” and in France he is known as Père Noël. In the United States we know him as Santa Claus.

No matter the name or who is delivering gifts, it is the season of peace, joy and togetherness. It is the season for thinking about loved ones, friends and those less fortunate. It is a time to witness the goodness and generosity the human race is capable of. It is a time for peace on Earth and goodwill toward man

The Avengers' Mansion was decorated and festive. Inside the Avengers celebrated Christmas Day. Outside there was a flash of light and six time and dimensionally displaced Avengers showed up.

He normally doesn't give himself much time off, especially in times of crisis - which the current situation is nearing. Today is one of the very few exceptions - well away from the citadel that has sprung up, Avengers' mansion is decorated for the holidays.
Solver has his vision and hearing as trained on Kang's fortress as he can, but is at least making the effort to distract his teammates while they await Kang's next move.

As such, when there's a rather significant amount of noise outside, he considers that it might well be connected. In a rush of super speed, the Asgardian God of the Sun tears outside, hovering a couple feet off the ground, eyes glowing red as he reacts to the newcomers.

Ryan had gotten all excited when he saw where they were thinking that maybe they were finally home. Though he quickly could tell that this wasn’t his home this was most likely the future.

He then saw someone with glowing red eyes looking at them with a look of uncertainty on his face. “Hey,” Ryan said, “We’re not here to cause trouble we’re here to help.”

	Dinner had been a noisy affair, but it had been nice to sit and eat a proper meal with sort-of-family. They had talked and told stories of their adventures. When dinner was over they all moved to the rec room to continue sharing stories. It would also give those who wanted to talk a chance to talk. It was a day of rest with family. 	When most in the mansion have retired to their beds for the night, Svalin made her way to the training room. There were things she didn't know how to deal with so she went to do the one thing that would relax her. Robot contructs were created and she set the program to keep creating them. Eventually she would get tired of it, but for know slicing up robots was fun. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	After Dinner and talking with people for a while Ryan and Charlie quietly excused themselves to head out for a bit. They made their way over to a bar at a Chinese food place not far from there. It was pretty empty as one would expect for it being Christmas night. Ryan ordered a bottle of tequila for both of them and sat down at a both with Charlie. (Reply to this)(Thread)
