1. Jai has been in love with Mickey since they were four years old, but one thing or another always prevents him from telling her.

2. First, the time he had an allergic reaction to a flower they played in when they were six.

3. Next, Jai tried to tell her when they were eleven, but she ended up going away that summer. He wrote letters to her everyday, but never sent them.

4. When they were nineteen, he raced all the way across country with flowers and candy for Valentine's Day to say he wanted to be with her, but when he arrives, he sees that she's already met someone else.

5. When Mr. and Mrs. Rayner announce that Mickey is marrying her college sweetheart, Jai is genuinely happy for her celebrates along with everyone else. But he goes home that evening and puts away all of the pictures, and the letters he's written to her every day since that summer, telling her how much he loves her. The box is placed somewhere safe, where he eventually forgets it exists as he goes on with his life.

Some things just aren't meant to be.

1. Oddly enough, the convergence of gamma-radiation and ionic energy seems to drastically /decrease/ the potential for successful conception. Not that Jen and Simon were looking to have kids...because, face it, the sex was /amazing/.

2. After Jen fainted during a battle against Kang, it was confirmed that she was very far along, and had to revert to her non-powered form to carry the baby to term.

3. Bruce Jacob Williams is born with green skin and red eyes, and a howl that could wake the dead. The first five months of his life find Jen and Simon getting very, very little in the way of sleep, much less sex.

4. Jake, however, eventually mellows out and loves being played with by Mommy and Daddy, who both decide to give monogamy a real try.

5. Though it doesn't work out quite as planned, however, Jake grows up with two loving parents and goes to school to learn entertainment law. He does bit parts on several TV shows, usually with his dad.

Mom doesn't record the shows; she insists on watching them live, whenever possible.

1. Boys, Boys, Boys. Without fail, Ryan and Mitzi manage to have four boys, all of whom have their dad's mischievous grin and love of climbing and jumping off of everything in sight, which drives Mommy nuts.

2. Marc and Charles Spector are twins and absolutely love reenacting the Harry Potter books by challenging each other to magical duels. The twins often do this in their bedroom, which they wreck on a weekly basis and Mommy has to help them clean up.

3. John "Jack" Spector is an adrenaline junkie and was rappelling off the roof of Titans' Tower at ten years old. Aunt Pippi suggests buying him a rappelling wall for fun, but Aunt Dinah and Aunt Marissa make him one.

4. Marlon Spector is the baby of the family and has yet to cause his parents any serious issues, but it's suspected that he has a true meta-gene. He seems more active on nights the moon is full and is lethargic and tired when it wanes.

5. Mitzi's favorite holiday is Mother's Day, as Ryan has managed to surprise her every year, with the boys' help. This makes up for the other 364 days of the year where she's pretty sure they wouldn't be able to function without her.

Still, she loves all of her men like nobody's business.

1. Ra's al Ghul murdered Morgaine in order to sever Damien's attachment to her, which he thought was "weakening" the boy. He eventually brought Sin into the League, anointing her the "Chosen One".

2. Damien and Sin spend most of their youth trying to outdo each other, with Damien trying several times to kill her in order to anger his grandfather.

3. One evening, Damien is able to catch his grandfather unaware and kills him in revenge for Morgaine's death. Sin arrives after the fact and they do battle.

4. Damien narrowly overpowers her, but spares her life, as she is the same age Morgaine would be if she'd lived that long.

5. He allows her to leave the League and go free in an attempt to make "amends" for his sister's death.

1. Aiden is Mommy's Little Man, even if he's responsible for half of the damages to the house (Mommy and Daddy are responsible for the other half). An incorrigible prankster, Aiden often teases his older sister and flies off. Uncle Titan /always/ thinks his jokes are funny.

2. Johanna is Daddy's Little Girl and the family's next lawyer/model. She turns a bit green around the gills when she's annoyed, which is often in her little brother's presence. She tried to present a case to her parents a few weeks after Aiden's birth for sending him back to the North Pole (where Daddy said babies came from, back then), but she was overruled by Mom and Dad.

3. Both kids are insanely strong. Johanna's leaping ability allows her to catch her brother before he can fly off too far, usually.

4. Grandma Carol and Grandma Jennifer dote on them like no one's business. Grandpa Simon usually tries to chime in when they're talking, earning him a glare from both.

5. Aiden and Johanna are always there for each other, no matter what. And they conference call with Mom and Dad every night, no matter where in the world they are.

1. He was going to make this special for Corrina, by Poseidon, or he'd die trying.

2. Corrina made certain to let him know that dying was not a viable option.

3. She was a bit self-conscious about her leg, but Cerdian was gentle with her and let her know he found her perfect, inside and out.

4. The following morning, he held her as close as she would allow, and told her that his first time was perfect.

5. She admitted that he was her first and asked him to help with her second time so that they could compare notes.

1. He doesn't realize what has happened until Lian's body drops lifeless to the floor. She jumped in front of the bullet meant for the Atlantean and now...she's gone, along with their child.

2. Morgaine has to physically defend Damien from Cerdian, going so far as to slice off the man's right hand at the elbow to keep him from harming her brother.

3. Damien's composure and leadership ability fray at the seams as the Demon's Head experiences the one emotion he has no facility with: guilt.

4. The League's losses are massive as the world's heroes band together to utterly destroy the League. Morgaine is killed by Robert Queen, James is captured by the Outsiders, Checkmate captures his mother and father, leaving Damien utterly alone.

5. Eventually, Cerdian finds a broken, defeated Damien in Japan and submits himself to Cerdian's revenge. Cerdian chooses...to allow Damien to live with the knowledge of what he's done, casting a spell to make Damien see Lian's expression of pain and shock as she dies, every time he closes his eyes for the rest of his life.

Damien Wilson may outlive his enemies, but he also never sleeps another night of his miserable existence.

1. Alina saved Houston Brand from muggers and became fast friends with the young woman shortly after her twin brother died.

2. When Dallas first tried to reach his sister, he learned that she couldn't hear him no matter how hard he tried. Alina, on the other hand, could understand a few things he said to her and relayed them to Houston.

3. Dallas begged Alina to hold a seance for his sister so he could talk to her for just a few minutes. Alina did so, bringing the twins forgiveness and closure in their relationship.

4. Dallas got to know Alina better, and found himself saddened that he didn't know her during his life, as she would have been a good friend.

5. On the day of her death, far in the future, Dallas is waiting to usher Alina to the other side. Only then does Rama Kushna inform him that Alina was the last person he was meant to help cross over, releasing him from his role as Deadman. Now, they're both able to face whatever comes next, together.

1. He was visiting Gotham one evening and decided to run his old patrol route for a trip down memory lane.

2.He didn't expect that someone else would be there, but Red Robin found her intriguing from the get go. They decided to meet up again the following evening.

3. They did so. Before the end of the night, they'd found a rooftop to call their own. They never took off their masks.

4. The following evening, Bruce introduced Tim to Maria at dinner. Tim won't say /how/ he realized Huntress was Maria, but it may or may not have had something to do with a particular phrase they both used about "big girl panties".

5. They did it again in the cave later that night.

1. The cool of the desert night is the best place for lovemaking. Damien offered to let Lian walk away from him several times, but she refused.

2. He remembered having protection available, but the heat of the moment stole all of his thoughts away, except for being with her.

3. First, there was the pond, followed by the inside of his tent...several more times.

4. Lian realized immediately that Damien was more skilled than anyone she'd been with previously. Later, he explained that his mother and grandfather chose to...prepare him for the event by purchasing him a harem in his early teens, as well as teachers to school him.

5. For all his experiences, Damien readily admits that Lian is his favorite partner, and always will be.

1. He had no idea why she sought him, of all people, to help her after she was injured, but he took care of her all the same, despite knowing the League was out to kill him.

2. She refused the hospital, so he cleaned and stitched her wounds and gave her soup to start with. Later, they moved up to cheeseburgers.

3. Apparently, she'd never had one. Soon, she wanted one each day, between snarky banter between the two of them, and no less than seven threats of physical violence against his person.

4. Two weeks later, she found Tim in his gym, and mentioned that she needed to get back in shape as the food had started going to her ass. Tim agreed and suggested cardio as a good way to take the weight off.

5. It turns out that Morgaine's workout plan helped them burn off those cheeseburgers and a few other things. Every now and then, they get together to add a few new...exercises to the routine.

1. Avia didn't need Rex's help to get a date, but damn if Will /still/ wasn't getting the picture that Avia wanted to go out with him. The plan seemed insane when she explained it to him, but Rex wanted to help the pair, so he accepted.

2. Granted, Hope didn't seem thrilled by the idea, but Rex couldn't figure out why. He had yet to tell Hope how he felt about her, refusing to acknowledge the parallels between his and Avia's situations.

3. Avia "just happeend" stop by the Brownstone to see Rex, knowing that Will would be in attendance. They made certain to announce the time, date and location of their "date" so that Will could hear.

4. On the night of their date, Rex arrives and puts the finishing touches on their plan at the restaurant. Then, he calls Will and explains that he's "helping Nic out with something" and can't get in touch with Avia, as she's not answering her phone. He asks Will to fly out to New York and let her know he can't make it.

5. After informing Avia that she owes him /big/ for this, Rex heads back to the Brownstone to let Will take his place for their evening out. The following day, he hears that it went well and decides that if Will can overcome his fear and enjoy Avia's company, then he can do the same.

So he calls Hope.

1. They all thought she was the next "Wayne Girl" but Carol Ferris let Bruce Wayne know from the outset that she wasn't going to be another of his conquests.

2. The pair pioneer several projects that improve aeronautical technology and make faster, stronger planes and helicopters for the military and civilian complexes.

3. And Bruce bond over losing parents and people who matter to them. In time, she comes to understand that the Bruce Wayne the whole world knows isn't the /real/ Bruce.

4. Eventually, he confesses his secret to her. He expects her to leave and not look back, but she surprises him by asking how she can help and tells him that she won't let him do this alone.

5. The marriage of Carol and Bruce Wayne draws visitors from all over the world, as well as the superhero community. Hal walks her down the aisle. After the wedding, she and Bruce run the company together by day, while he trains her for her first night on the streets, which is coming soon.

1. Avery got to know and like Andy, having gone out for a beer or two with the younger half-god. He also learned to like Titan, whom Zoey had a soft spot for.

2. Eventually, Avery learns of Jenny and discusses with Andy why he hasn't married the woman, or asked her to move in with him. Andy cites several reasons, but it's a funny thing to watch one lawyer try to bullshit another. Hint: It doesn't work.

3. Avery talks to Sydney over the course of a few months then contacts Jenny on the sly to ask her to come to Andy's surprise birthday party.

4. Jenny, Sydney and Avery strike up a fun conversation and have a good time at the party. Syd and Avery both agree that their first instinct is the right one and invite Andy and Jenny to dinner the following night.

5. That evening, Sydney informs Andy that Scion is opening a new branch in London, and that the job of running that branch is his, if he wants it. Though he'll miss his friends, it doesn't take Andy long to say yes. Of course, they ask Marlow to join them.

Bonus: Andy and Jenny announce their engagement soon after.

1. Aine got Ahura drunk. Not that she needed to, but she could see that something was bothering him and he needed to loosen up.

2. He admitted to being exiled from Attilan, which was the source of his distress. Then, he admitted to wanting Aine from the moment he met her, even though she punched him out for insulting humans in general.

3. They nearly ended up in bed that evening, but Ahura had enough presence of mind to tell her that he did not want to be someone she regretted when the sun came up, and that he didn't want to lose control of himself and hurt her, so he went to bed alone that night.

4. The following day, after the hangover ended, Aine asked him if he meant what he said about being attracted to her. He admitted that he did, but that it was still too dangerous for them to try anything, he couldn't control his abilities. He further admitted that wanted, just once, to look at her without his glasses.

5. Aine rigged up a visor for him to wear that allowed him to do, which removed the last barrier between them, and they enjoyed themselves a great deal that evening.
