The Big Finale
The city of Star City looked deserted. The citizens had either fled or had been turned into black lanterns. At the heart of the city was the entity known as Nekron. Nekron used the city as his base as his black lanterns ravaged the Earth.

The black lanterns increased their numbers each day and the power levels of the black lantern battery increased with each person that died.

Soon Nekron would have enough power to obliterate all life on this planet.

Eventually, hanging with the Outsiders had provided information. Reports of where the Green Lanterns -- etc. GK still thought of them as 'Green Lanterns' even when they accessorized further -- were amassing. Considering the state of the city, GK didn't want to stay sidelined.

He remembered the advice he'd gotten in terms of all his self-defense classes -- although his folks had definitely not shelled out for lessons in order for them to be used this way. But Uncle Jed, in spite of being quite the hippie, had said that when push came to shove, you did whatever you had to to survive.

Well, right now, GK was surviving in the flood of Oblivion. Barely.

And there was vitreous humor on the blade of his swordstick. Somewhere in the back of his mind, he wondered if that caused tarnish. But hey. The zombie couldn't very easily rip out a heart he couldn't see.

BAMF!

The smell of fire and brimstone are evident as Mitzi appears, smiling to herself. The spell /worked/. She wasn't sure what Lady Jo did to her the other day when she'd saved Lily, but over the last few days, Mitzi had figured it out.

She could use magic. Real magic.

Granted, she only knows only a few spells (literally, three) at this moment, but she can sense that there's more out there to learn. This teleportation spell was nifty and would cut down on gas money...and travel time.

Mitzi takes aim a Black Lantern (she'd only learned the name a few minutes ago) and unleashes the second spell she knows: fire.

She burns a Black Lantern to a crisp and smiles as she watches it start to reform.

"Maybe a bad girl gone good can still bad every now and again..." she smirks, getting ready to practice her spell again.

Having procured a flame thrower from one of the secret bases in Gotham, Marissa had made her way to Star City. That's where nearly all of the zombies had gone and with Star City being home to both her brother and Keith, Batgirl was hell bent on being there.

She toasted a few zombies as she made her way to where the other heroes were working away. She wasn't a lantern but there was something to be said for crowd control.

	She was wearing a ring charged by the Hope of the universe. It was, to say the least, quite daunting. Traya's assault on the Black Lanterns took the place of small blue-light shards shot at high speed through her tornado powers. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Even the Scarab couldn't manufacture White Light, but it could create weapons that could more or less destroy one temporarily in one or two shots. Including some suggestions that would leave Star City a radioactive crater. "TITANS TOGETHER!" (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	With all the issues with the ring gone, Michael was now free to let loose. And when its an architect student who is also a closet nerd, bad things were going to happen to the black lanterns. 	Huntress had hitched a ride with Batman and as soon as they were close enough to Star City she had Bats drop her off. She armed her crossbow and charged in. Shooting, kicking and doing everything to slow them down. Hopefully the lanterns could get this resolved very soon. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Jarrod's own powers were not particularly effective in this fight but he did whatever he could to support people. He also had found a way to keep the Black Lanterns away from him using his aura. He guessed they didn't like to feel at peace or something. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Mikey had come with the rest of the JSA and he had brought some of his most powerful and lethal bots with him and had taken out some of the safety protocols so they would be more effective. 	Vic was helping fight as best as he could while he wasn't proud about having to do this he was using some of the most lethal moves he knew to take disable Black Lanterns faster while being careful to guard his heart. After this he would definitely want to talk to his dad about a few thinks and definitely doing some deep meditation before that. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

After dealing retreating from their fight with Morgan le Fey him and the rest of Shadowpact went to one of Merlin's graves to talk to one of his ghost and they had gotten lucky and it was one of his nicer if annoyingly cryptic ghosts who was not happy about them letting Morgan le Fey achieve god like powers getting his stone. Since Zach had disappeared on them he gave Sindella a little gift to help them a tiny chip of the stone good to power up one spell with a hint that in the darkest of times it's best to create the brightest light you can to banish it away whatever the hell that meant.

Mike was breathing Hellfire at some Black Lanterns while helping to look for Morgan le Fey.

	Max did what he could to help out but found himself more than once needing to empty himself of emotion to keep the Black Lanterns away from him and being overrun. He was very glad that his dad had taught him that little trick. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Marcus had armed himself with is shitload of red energy construct weapons and was really letting loose on the black lanterns with it. If it weren't for the voice now in his head telling him to kill murder and maim everything and the vomiting up bloodily red rage he would have asked if he could have kept the ring after this so that he could bring some even more effective real justice to Gotham.
