The Big Finale
The city of Star City looked deserted. The citizens had either fled or had been turned into black lanterns. At the heart of the city was the entity known as Nekron. Nekron used the city as his base as his black lanterns ravaged the Earth.

The black lanterns increased their numbers each day and the power levels of the black lantern battery increased with each person that died.

Soon Nekron would have enough power to obliterate all life on this planet.

Nekron lets the blasts come at him, swinging his scythe from left to right across his body.

The multi-colored blasts are devoured by the void that appears between him and the assembled Legions of Light.

"Why do you resist? I seek to bring peace and order to this universe. Is that not what you all claim to be fighting for? Clinging to this life so dearly only deepens the pain in each of your hearts.

All of you have lost someone you love, have watched dreams die and expectations falter. The only release from your pain is to /accept/ the end which I give you.

How many more must die before you will all see the /truth/?!" he asks, releasing tendrils of black energy at the assembled group.
