Two days in New York City
Jenny was happy to conveniently forgot her scheduled appointment with Dr. Samson, but leave it to Rob to have it on his calendar. The day before, she was notified that she would be collected at 6am and delivered to the S.H.I.E.L.D. transport for the New York run.

She tossed a few items into her shoulder bag along with a new book. She didn't need anymore than that as Rob had kept their leased apartment in New York. Between his monthly trips back to New York and her infrequent traveling, he said it was worth hanging onto it. Everything she might need was already there.

A note was posted on the refrigerator so the team would know she would be in the States for a couple of days. She also included a post script asking Leech to make sure Yankee Clipper was fed. She really hoped Quinn would continue to be tolerant and not turn YC into a fluffy orange and white throw pillow.

In New York, she had time to shower and change clothes before presenting herself at Dr. Samson's office promptly at 3pm. Each time she had one of these appointments she hoped it would be the last. Each time he said he would see her again in three months. At least this time she would have something different to contribute to the conversation.

	It was a predictable routine, and she knew all the consequences if she tried to change it or be less than truthful. "I'm sleeping all right for the most part, Doctor. Not a full night, but restful." 	The last thing Jenny did before leaving London was to email a new acquaintance to see if he was in New York and amiable to coffee in the late afternoon or dinner, and include her phone number. If not, there was no harm in asking. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	Jenny neither knew what time it was or cared. She was happy and relaxed and about to dive into cheesecake made by the cause of the smile she couldn't get rid of, even if she wanted to. She picked up her fork and took a bite. Eyes closed, savoring the dessert. "It's wonderful," she said after her third bite. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Andy smiles as well, the expression seemingly unwilling to abate. "Good. I was hoping you'd like it. There's plenty, since we made a double-sized one, so don't be shy." he says. They eat in near-silence for a time, making small talk about the cheesecake, when Andy speaks up. "So...you have to go at some point tonight?" he asks. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Getting dressed, Take Two. "I love pictures." he says, finally getting himself together again. He'd managed to set the wallpaper of the two of them together on his phone. 	As predicted, Security was not amused at their long goodbye. The taxi driver had been far more tolerant of two passengers who didn't talk much but couldn't stop smiling over 'Dr. Cheesecake'.
