Characters: EVERYONE Setting: Sam's house in New Orleans. Rating: Let's be honest... NSFW Summary: CCI kids welcome the New Year Sam wasn't even sure he wanted to host a New Year's Eve party after his last night of the semester. It took some serious bro time and about ten pounds of candy corn, but he was finally cheered up enough to invite the upper academy to his house to celebrate the new year. He and Marina had spent setting up the house, making food, and convincing their parents that the house was not going to get wrecked while they were away. A few charms and the house was glowing with silver snow flakes and 2011 balloons. The house was ready to go, parent free, and just waiting for the guests to arrive. Amy hadn't been sure whether or not she was going to Sam's New Year's Eve party when she first heard about it, but Grandma said Adam couldn't go unless she did, and that tipped the scales in favor of going. She was amused by how excited he was about his first big high school party. Though they'd only arrived a few minutes past seven, there was already a sizeable amount of people at the party. As it was a New Year's Eve party, Amy thought a little glitz might be appropriate (at least from what she'd seen on TV and in movies, this was her first New Year's Eve party not counting sleepovers), but now she wondered if her sequinned top and silver shoes were a little much, considering how many people were in T-shirts, jeans and sneakers. Then again, there were a few other girls in glitzy tops and heels, too. And there was nothing dressy about her dinosaur jewelry. Nothing. Adam quickly made a beeline to where a small group of freshmen were standing at the corner of the living room, and Amy went to get something to drink. Grabbing a wine cooler, she headed over to the couch and sat down, sipping her drink and toying with her dinosaur bracelet while she kept an eye on Adam as was her job as the oldest sibling, at least until something more interesting distracted her.

Jenny/Open
|
Jenny was still on the fence about the idea of sneaking out of the house, and yet here she was. She may have been physically at the party, but her mind was entirely somewhere else. Wondering how much trouble they'd get in, and over-analyzing the looks people gave her. She was sipping absently at a Jones, the same one she'd had since she had arrived with Ella ages ago. She wasn't even sure where her sister had gotten off to, just hoped that she remembered that they needed to head home early. If their parents came home and found them out of the house, there would be hell to pay. She was already on thin ice, unsure if her mother was even going to let her return to school on the second. Under the watchful stare and giggles of some older girls, Jenny shied away from the crowd of people in the kitchen. making her way into the living room. She found an armchair, sitting it in, neatly folding her hands in her lap and twiddling her thumbs. She was bored silly, but it was still better than being stuck in bed.

Do you know where Bekka was? Not at home being called planks of wood with a refugee figure- nor was she going to be sober while here. Hell, as soon as she popped into this place her first order of business was to find Charlie and get her tequila nonsense on. Three shots in and she was feeling pretty damn good. And well. Dare we see it? Her 'dance' on. Fuck yeah. Aune Rebbecca Walkky was trying to sway her hips (wherever they were) side to side. God help us all.

With a drink in hand, Keegan made his way out onto Sam's porch. He was nice enough not to smoke inside, whether he was actually allowed to or not. He didn't really feel like asking. Instead, he set his beer aside to pull his cigarettes from his back pocket. That gift was a handy thing, and so far he found he enjoyed it. Although it'd be more handy where alcohol wasn't already readily accessible. While he was ready to indulge in two of his favorite vices, his lighter had other plans. A few flicks and it decided that it just didn't want to work. Keegan's attention turned to the remainder of the porch, hoping that someone else was outside. He was lucky, spotting someone a bit away, but enough for them to hear when he asked, "Hey, got a light?"

Mari/Open
|
Mari had flitted off after Emilie had gone after Ciaran, feeling a little smug at bringing the two of them together, however far that went. She was pretty good at hooking people up, it was just a shame she couldn't hook up herself. Not one to dwell, Mari had bought a six pack of beer off of Charlie, shotgunned two with a hot senior and now found herself back in the kitchen debating whether she could walk on her hands in her current state, for five bucks. Not one to turn away from a challenge, Mari gave her cigarettes to the kid next to her to hold, and attempted, swinging down and somehow staying stable, upsidedown and managing five "steps" before she lost her balance, smashing to the floor and claiming her money from the floor. "I am the winner!" She shouted, holding the five bucks in the air triumphantly, though she didn't move from her horizontal position. "I need help" she admitted, giggling.

Tatum was a little bit drunk. She had drank her way through more than half of a twelve pack of Smirnoff Ice, and usually only took about three to make her tipsy. She was aware, but giggly, and finding herself easily excitable. The joints they had rolled were probably more or less to blame for that part of it. But it was New Years, with 2011 just around the corner, and she had decided to let herself celebrate a little. It was almost a new year, so why not send out 2010 with a bang? It had, after all, been a rather brilliant year. The redhead had no idea where exactly they were headed, as she pulled Frankie along with her by the hand. There fingers were tangled together tightly, and she turned to flash the brunette a little grin as they made their way up a set of stairs and into the second story of the house. There weren't nearly as many people up there, and that was fine, as she pulled Frankie closer. "I need to find the place.. the perfect place to give you your present," she assured her, in a hushed whisper. There were a lot of doors to choose from, and she selected the closest one, closing her fist around the knob and giving it a shove. It came open easily, and it was empty, dark. " Perfect," Tatum murmured, flashing that grin again, and pulling Frankie inside with her, shutting the door and fumbling for the light switch.
